cool! I'm gonna ride it!

This ride is one of the many rides designated with the maximum 5 intensity rating. Other rides with this rating are : Son of Beast, Beast, Vortex, Tomb Raider, Italian Job, among others. Do not be fooled -- Those rides in general are wild rides, HOWEVER, this one you can almost LITERALLY fall asleep on! Honestly, if you are looking for something exciting, DELIRIUM, which in right next door would be a better bet. It remains unclear to me as to what Cedar Fair's motives for giving this ride this intensity rating was. Some guy once came up to me on the other side of the park and told me he had ice on his legs for 2 hours because of EXPRESS's lap restraints. I am not sure if this was actually true due to the fact that in my opinion the cars on EXPRESS are actually rather roomy . . . my only guess is that he confused ADVENTURE EXPRESS's and BEAST's names in the 90 degree heat.

its a good ride and fun the line is never long thats the good thing cause you can ride it every time you visit the park

it's ok i usually pass this ride up because it doesnt thrill me but who knows everyone has a different point of view.

this is a fun ride but i wish it was a little bit longer

this ride is great and the line for it is usually not long so I can almost guarantee you can ride it with no more than a 5-10 minute wait

Great for first time roller coaster riders but sorta bumpy but hey, I had my arms up practically the whole time so I thought it was pretty bumpy. The wait is not long at all! Today was one of the busiest days & my my best friend probably rode over 10 times cuz we were too impatient to to ride the Flight of Fear or Vortex or The Beast

In the years I practically lived at the park, me and my friends would use the express as a cool off ride we could go ride it in between long waits for the main attractions. One time we were allowed to just stay on the ride for 5 rotations without even moving and we were in the front cars. I took a nap on the ride.

i luv this ride i dont think its boring its the best at night time cuz u have no clue where you're goin but it does have some tight turns

This ride....is rather bumpy and not really fun. This was the first roller coaster I ever rode (unless you count the Beastie, lol). As a ten year old kid, it was a good coaster to start off with. It wasn't too extreme but I had fun with the tunnels and stuff. Now, as a 17 year old, its not very fun, just bumpy and rather boring. It deff. doesn't deserve the 5 rating, cause its really not that extreme. The best part of the ride though is the sound effects. I took my boyfriend on it and he thought it was breaking down. Priceless.

This ride is actually exciting, it's kind of like a mouse coaster on some parts. Good for the kid, but still exciting to ride.

I like this one a lot. The fog and the animal noises. When you wait in line you can here tribal sounds. Though now it hard to hear over the TV screens. The only thing I don't like is that you dont get to go down the hill that you climbed up after seing Monte Zuma's face. I thought there was going to be a really fun hill, then it over dat sux. Finish the coaster. I want my hill, and take away the TVs in line.

The reason there is a chain lift to the station is because it's a terrain coaster, and the station is higher off the ground than most coasters. And it's the only way to get to the station.

Very fun ride, the 3 train operation is very nice due to the fact it is always a walk on.

Adventure Express dosent look very intense but I will have to find out myself in June.

This was my first coaster i ever rod and it has the best themeing of all the rides in KI.It doesnt deserve a 5 rating though i dont know what the deal with that was but, ROCK ON ADVENTURE EXPRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok this ride is soo fun i remember the first time i went on it the ending i was like oh no they are gonna get us! and my mom was next to me laughing

Great for a mine-ride type of coaster.

Tip: Don't ride the last car.IT BEATS YOU UP!Oh and on the hills dont expect good ends to these climaxes.

Ok it's fun the first couple of times I rode it but after that I think I could practically fall asleep on it. Don't sit in the back bc my brother got his head hit by some bar and had a goose egg on his head for a week
( lol priceless ) but on top of that he lost his $60 dollar hat. I wouldn't give it a 5 intensity rating like Cedar Fair gave it and wouldn't let any big tall person ride it bc there are bars that no one under 6ft could fit through even with ducking

This ride is OK if you want to ride something with no wait. Also, it's probably the most appropriate family ride at the park. However, it's certainly not scary. When I went on this last time, me and my ex-girlfriend were laughing at this guy we went with because he was so scared. THAT was funny!

I luv this ride. Do they do anything special for Oktoberfest.

Okay....It doesn't deserve the 5 rating...but this is one of my favorite rides at KI. I"m 30 years old and I love....I think it's mainly the themeing of the ride and the fact that it's so much like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom that I like it so much because Indy is one of my favorite characters ever.

Fun ride!! not scary or too fast.. just fun.

I just got back from KI 20 minutes ago and I rode Adveture Express. I love it. Its preddy rough and it was one of my favorite coasters I rode

The Adventure Express is the ride we ride first. We go every year since 2006. I was 10 then. I love this ride because it gets me pumped to ride the Vortex and other rides. I will go to KI in 5 days and I am so excited because it is a 2 hour drive, which isn't that long for me!

being freaked by anamatronics and fake creature anamations, ( i can't ride scoobydoo) this is kinda scary. besindes that it's dumb.

i agree with chimpy2000 i can honestly say that this is the worst ride in the park knowone hardly rides it anymore they should just tear it down

yup, AE is a ride that will just put you to sleep. tear it down and put in a new one... maybe extend fof...

Actually, a bunch of websites rate it the best Arrow Mine Train in the United States.
Plus, Adventure Express gets WAY more riders than King Cobra did before it was taken out because of the bad steel it was made out of.
In 2005 (sometime around then) Adventure Express had the second most rides of any ride in the park and probably still does have in the tops.

Well 2009 isn't 2005. Look around and ask, and you'll see that 1,000's of people loved Cobra. I never got to ride because it was taken down before i could ride.

Adventure Express: Intensety of 5 and yet it's "One of the Most Tame Rollercoasters" in the park. I went on it about 2 years ago and the Racer was way more tame than Adventure Express!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to KI in July and for some crazy reason i'm really looking forward to riding Adventure Express. It's a good ''I'm-pooped-at-the-end-of-the-day-so-might-as-well-finish-it-with-the -awesome-Adventure-Express-then-go-home-coaster'',coaster.(it's awsome,but they should fix up some stuff to make it the way it used to be back in the 90's)

I think they should add smoke machines in the temple drummer lift hill. If anyone agree's or disagree's please comment

Just for people who think they should tear down AE, and put back King Cobra. NEWSFLASH! for ya! KC. was put where Delirium is. So no tearing down AE. They would have to move, or tear down Delirium.

My friend dragged me on this ride the other day. Stinks more than backlot stunt coaster which is another ride falsely rated.

The spectacularly anticlimactic end totally makes the ride.

hahaha i think its a baby ride. my five year old brother thought it was an easy ride. its still funnnn! i love it it should be scarier and faster and have big hills.

Very fun ride, even if it is a family ride. I'm 15 and I enjoy it. And yeah it shouldn't be rated 5, it should get more of a rating of 4. It's not too intense.

adventure express is a really cute ride and pretty fun too! but, i think it is kind of a disappointment when, in the final lift hill with all the glowing-eyed-arm-pumping statues only leads to the loading station for the end of the ride. otherwise, it's a fun ride! :-)

I don't get it... This ride has a "rating of 5", which is the highest rating they can give, and places it into the "aggressive thrills" section. Have these people actually ridden this ride? According to them, "The Racer" is less intense than Adventure Express.... HAHAHA.

its really shaky but its still a good ride that last hill should be something big not just a tiny little baby hill its not worth it but it is a good ride

I seem to remember this ride was rushed to completion and what stands today was not the original concept. Vaguely remember something about two tracks and the train would split and rejoin at the end. I could be completely wrong and thinking of something else though.

A simple but fun little coaster!
