Themed to the Fairly Odd Parents. The Fairly Odd Coaster thrills patrons from young to old. The deceiving purple color of this ACE Coaster Classic doesn’t do any justice to the sudden drops and quick turns that this coaster has to offer!

Designed by the legendary John Allen of the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, this coaster is full of quick dips, sudden turns, and spontaneous air time!

Central Tip: For the best air time on this attraction, try the back seat!

They should of kept it the beastie. i rode it as a kid and when i went there not to long ago i was really mad

i do like the fairly odd parents but i think they should've kept it the beastie too. that way kids who wanted to ride the beast but were too small to would know that they're still riding the beast but just a smaller one and wouldn't get dissapointment you know?

Yhea i agree. When me and my friends were in that part of the park, we were going to boomarang bay, i was looking for the beastie. When my friend found out that it was the fairly odd coaster i was so mad. now i am over it and i want to ride it. It was my first ever roller coaster and i like to go back to my childhood

good ride but the kiddy land is always so crowded so it takes time to get there and then to ride it.... 15 to 20 min wait for a short coaster.....????? don waste your time unless you have younger kids and are in the kiddy land then go right ahead and ride it....

i honestly don't care if they changed the name, the name doesn't matter, this ride rocks, and i don't care if it is in the kiddieland section, it's soooo much fun!

my cousin john got sick on that ride once but thiscan only go 30 mph. i was holding on to the bars when i rode i'mprobely going to ride it a next month.

This was the first ride I rode at Kings Island that wasn't a "Kiddy Ride". I rode it when it was the Beastie. I was ten and it seemed scary to me, cause it was like the Beast and THAT seemed TOO scary to ride! Bur when I got off that thing I felt good that I didn't chicken out and I liked it. I was still too afraid to ride the Beast though, lol. But the purple tracks take away all of the excitement! I didn't even bother to ride it again as a more mature, DEFF. less scared person, lol. It just looked too childish. The Beastie will be sorely missed :(

I went to KI over the summer and i loved this coaster because it was the biggest coaster i have evre been on so far{ im only 8}

it completely takes away the beast's theme.

Nick, It was once an ACE Coaster Classic, but now it is not because of the installation of headrests, seat deviders, and seatbelts.
And the Purple color is there to match the Fairy World Theme.

i used to ride the beastie all the time and i took my little brother on the fairly odd coaster its great because kids watch that show all the time i know my brother does! it still rocks

I love this thing. It was my first rollercoaster back when it was the beastie. I wanted to ride it sooooo bad last year but was afraid people would look at me funny since I'm 16 and all.

this was my first coaster, i rode it at night time and then went to a birthday party.
i wish it was still the beastie, because that goes with the "Beast" theme in the park.

The Beastie was my first coaster.. only rode it cause' my dad wanted to. I still have the picture. Pretty much turned me into a coaster freak.
I'd rather not think about the name change... I can only hope Cedar Fair will turn it back..
