if you haven't rode it how do you know if it is scary or not and i've not rode it for one reason and one reason only and that is because you have to pay 15 dollars to ride it and that is with their special going on

There's one at Elitch Gardens that's waaaay smaller well only about 200 ft tops I have to go on the one here it looks so much... more extreme 20 ain't that bad... I thought it was the greatest thrill I ever got at Elitch Gardens haha

I LOVED THIS RIDE O_O

It's not as scary as it looks. It's actually a lot of fun. Don't ride it in the afternoon though, the sun in your eyes is awful and you're strapped in so tight you really can't do anything about it.

I was a ride operator on this ride the year it opened. That is one sweet ride! Park policy stipulates that each ride must be run once each morning to test for errors before guests were allowed on, but Slingshot is built such that it will break if it is launched without someone in it, so we frequently got to ride for free in the morning. I can't count how many times I've ridden it. And the thrill never went away. It rocks!

P.S. Kick your legs just right and you can get that thing to flip like crazy. We frequently got it to flip upwards of 20 times.

I LOVE this ride! It is trilling and fun. It's ffeaky the first time but awesome at the same time!

Yeah, usually in the mornings you can ride it for only $5. As the crowd increases, towards the peak of the day, the price does the same [usually increments of $5 until it reaches $25].

Yesterday Auqust 1st I Went To Kinqs Island With On Of My Friends She Thinks Im Crazy Cause I Went On Extreme Skydiver By Myself,Your Hoisted 153 Feet Above Ground,And Dive At Speeds Up To 60 Miles Per Hour The Tickets For That Cost $15 Each
I Also Rode Slinq Shot And The Tickets Were On Sale For $10 Each Im Not Sure How Lonq Thats Gonna Last Or If It Was Just For That Day Its Not As Scary As It Looks You Know When You Are About To Launch Up Because They Tell You When You Hear Us Say All Clear Get Ready To Launch Up When Your Up In The Air You Do Flip Over Water But Its Very Fun.

The tickets were on sale for $5!!!!!. It's my favorite ride. My friend talked me into it. I was screaming ''HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!'' the whole time!

I took my 8 year daredevil daughter on this and we had a BLAST!
She still talks about it - a year later!!!!!!

I take advantage of this one when they drop the price I rode it for $5, not a bad deal!

This ride was amazing! I rode it yesterday with my uncle and it was very definitely a thrill ride! Going straight up at the beginning is so cool! Once you get the guts to ride Slingshot then you will have a really fun time! It is more fun and thrilling then scary! Strongly recommended.
