That it does.... Grain and Grille was sort of a step in the right direction, but it seems as if they won't be doing anything different/new to the menus. - Yesterday

Hang on there, cowboy, I'm not offering a "counter-argument." Those people are gonna get drunk and fight whether they're doing subway shots with mayonnaise floaters and Italian BMT garnish, or, slamming back pints of that weird blueberry ice cream beer. Not so much a Southern Ohio thing, more of a... human thing. -

So I bought 2 Cedar Point President's day tickets at a great price. From what I read the tickets expired on 6/30/24. Well I loaded and pulled up my Cedar Point app and found the tickets on there. However it says they are good thru 09/08/24 and I called Cedar Point to confirm and it is true. So if you got the tickets and want to hold off till later in the season you can.

It’s a four and half to five hour drive, with minimal stops, covering close to 300 miles to get from Cedar Point to Michigan’s Adventure. I think it’s a bad idea to try to add it to a trip to Cedar Point. Instead add it to a trip to Michigan. Go visit Detroit, Holland, something, anything else that is closer. While it won’t be an amusement park or roller coaster, I feel there is plenty to do in Detroit, and while it is still 3 hours each way, I have done it as a day trip from Detroit I like Michigan’s Adventure, it’s a good looking park with decent rides, and typically has short lines. But it’s small and it’s out of the way. I went over Labor Day weekend last year, I think on Sunday. Almost all the coasters were short waits, mostly 5 minutes or less, with only 2 or 3 having longer waits. I have season long Fast Lane, and I mostly just used the regular lines, except for I think Mad Mouse, the Arrow Wild Mouse. Just don’t expect a lot of food options, or a lot of rides, it is a small park.

It was done during my years there. Sometimes it was my decision. Other times it may have been requested by one of the divisions at the park, or the ride manufacturer. I wanted people to see rides testing. It generates interest, excitement and anticipation. That was not a reason I turned off a webcam. Others had different thoughts on that.

Oh they find a way. But seriously, I’m not saying it’ll make the bad crowd worse. I’m saying it could make a good crowd bad in addition to the bad crowd. -

Sometimes people take jokes too literally... @DJSkyFoxx posts a funny blurb in the same "tone" or style as typical KI blurbs of new events and people dissect it to pieces LOL -
I can't wait to see what new up charges they bring to nickel and dime us this season!

OK, maybe it's just uniquely a southern Ohio thing where people are commonly both very stupid and simultaneously wealthy enough to afford large quantities of alcohol at captive audience prices? As I said, I'm making a generalization, which was in part a joke, and was not an absolute, blanket statement of fact. That you can point to anecdotal exceptions is great and all, but not a compelling counter argument to the point I was making, which is that making alcohol available at the old Subway location isn't likely to have any measurable impact on the quantity of "fights and misbehavior" exists at amusement parks. -
So far for the 2024 season, I've been to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Seaworld Orlando. I have future plans this year to visit Cedar Point, Canada's Wonderland, Kings Island, Carowinds, King's Dominion, World's of Fun, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Possible parks if I have time will be Knotts Berry Farm, California's Great America.

As always, keeping it classy. At least there are copies of the book at bookstores, instead of an unfinished film that was scrapped. One person used the pandemic as an opportunity to not only finish, but add significant information, while the other used the pandemic as an excuse. -

I guess they will keep Lake Como and Moonlight gardens yes things change we do not shop like we did, we see lil mom n pop parks not making it thriving striving much less surviving. To Coney Island that gave us 1972 to 2023 giving us 5 decades more ( that did not have to happen, even when most of the park was bull dozed n moved after 71. Change is the Constant in life . Bigger is not always better, shiny vs what we loved and our Cherished memories, the good-times,gone by we cannot dwell, tomorrow is not guranteed. Embrace the change move forward. With Belterra Racino maybe a Hotel to come we do have a Constant in Coney redevelopment Mighty Ohio River n flooding. Imagine if the Apple Grove never became Coney , till 1900 & 71was the pinnacle of the Vision Mission and Passion that Walt Disney came to see for himself. Then later; Coney Island seen Disney for the new Park n Kings Mill project and the rest is history. -

I think you're giving people WAY too much credit. Beer ain't cheap at Bengals games, but the paddy wagons are always filled. -

Ohhhhhhh, I'd have to disagree here. Worked at the park for a long time and I'd wager that the Venn Diagram you're envisioning looks more like a circle, especially during Haunt. @teenageninja would you agree? -
Agree with the food selection, but I thought it was a cool little park and should not be missed. At least for one visit.

I would skip Michigan’s Adventure. Unless you’re specifically going for the coaster counts, you’re better off spending extra days at CP. Michigans Adventure is landscaped very nicely and the waterpark is nice, however the coaster and ride lineup is meh. The food was bad, so bad that I didn’t even redeem my second meal from the season long dining pass there and opted to eat outside of the park.
