  2. Strange that they would bother to photoshop in what appears to be Maverick on the far left.

  3. No, Ninja's loops don't have the 'truss' design in the top of them like in the ad and in some other Arrow mega loopers.

  4. I love all the people complaining. At the end of the day, you're still going to go to Kings Island and the people who purchased Fast Lane or Fast Lane Plus are going to skip ahead of you. Get over it, strap in, and enjoy the ride.

  6. The KIC Facebook and twitter are linked. If you choose one over the other, it's fine by me. :-)

  7. And my employer strongly, strongly discourages use of that site. It is by far not the only one. There's enough tracking going on in this world without that one.

  8. For those of us who rarely or never use FaceBook, things shared there are annoyingly difficult to keep track of. There's no RSS, every page features annoyingly big reminders to sign up or sign in, and the "timeline" view is atrocious. Perhaps you could post pictures & updates to other places as well? If Facebook Inc is your preferred social networking company, it's relatively easy to use apps on that platform to post elsewhere (eg. Twitter) at the same time. Fwiw, I haven't signed into facebook.com for about two years.

  9. What's FaceBook? Terp, only 44/100 of a percent serious. I thought THIS was the place for the things of which Ye spake. (and not from under the black hat).

  10. To me, Fast Lane Pass is an affordable luxury, that I much rather have the option to purchase than not.

  12. He did not diss. He merely stated facts about tolerances and exacting manufacture/design, facts well known in the industry. He's a great guy, and worked for Six Flags for many years.

  16. The shelter is for the air compressor. The generator is right next to it as well. There was a second air compressor as well out under the block brakes.

  17. Rides Maintenance is definitely one of the unsung departments of the park. They do a lot of hard work that mainly goes underappreciated by the public. Caption under one of the photos: This is actually the park's 42nd season (41st anniversary).

  18. Thank you. I'm surprised more people don't bring up the Six Flags system. Comparing Fast Lane to Disney is irrelevant, apples to oranges. Larger corporation with more capital who takes time to invest in doing things right the first time compared to regional company that changes on the fly. Fast Lane isn't an issue, it's here to stay and won't be gone anytime soon. Not to mention, the park had a perk like this before. It's not "unfair," it's a tiered experience like the ones found at nearly any other entertainment venue. The problem with Fast Lane is not its concept, but its execution. The system is operated horribly and sub par compared to industry standards. It's sad when Six Flags is doing something better than you. Wrist bands, unlimited rides and their lax policy on "capping" sales to keep impact down are all part of the problem. Then again, why cap Fast Lane purchases when you can just say you do while spending very little to operate a system you're immensely profiting on? One of the biggest dissappointments with Matt Ouimet is that he allows a system such as Fast Lane in its current state to exist. It could be operated so much better while delivering better value to those who purchase it and those who chose not to.

  19. I love the fanboys who blindly regurgitate the park's talking points. My solution to the whole nickel and dime approach that CF has adopted is very simple. I assume that anything and everything the park wants people to spend money on is a rip-off, therefore, I do not spend one red cent inside the park.
