  4. I do not think we will ever see a Son of Beast anything as long as CF owns the park.

  5. As important and iconic The Beast is, The Racer has more importance in the coaster community and, imo, is a more enjoyable experience and isn't as jarringly rough. Racer has my vote on this one.

  8. Even though The Beast is my favorite coaster, I have to go with The Racer on this one. It was the success of The Racer that lead to the second coaster boom in the early 70's. If The Racer wasn't the success that it was, we probably don't get The Beast or any of the coasters today.

  9. You know, if they turn it back to the Phantom Theater, the TVs could showcase acts different that you'll see during the ride. Or they could do something similar to some of the changing portraits from the Haunted Mansion. Just a thought.

  10. I remember park Reps spoke at an ACE event during the Paramount years and revealed they were restricted from displaying certain moving images on the (then) new sign. For instance, they could not show ride footage and/or commercials. The issue was raised based on the concerns that local authorities (I assume ODOT) had with it affecting traffic flow. I would assume that still plays into what they show, and the time each image spends on the screen.

  11. I think you are hyperfocused on spray paint. Enjoy the park for what it is and don't worry about tommorow because today has enough to enjoy at Kings Island.

  12. ^ I don’t really think that’s the best move right now. IMO, the COVID restrictions at the parks like masks and social distancing should remain in place until a vaccine or effective treatment is widely available, which is still at least several months away at this point. Even though parks have thankfully not been the source of any major COVID outbreaks, it’s better to be safe than sorry right now.

  13. My understanding is that they quickly determined that they didn’t really have to remove that last drop after they did it, so it’s possible. Unlikely, but possible.

  14. Looks like Swing-A-Round and Carousel found a new home at Fun Spot Atlanta!
