  1. Daughters first ride on the log Flume. She wanted to ride again.

  2. Here's an easy solution, just bring the log flume theme back into Rivertown and then create a better transition between PS and Rivertown. You could also relocate Linus Launcher or remove it and put a new building or even a stage in Rivertown similar to the stage being used for the live music at Frontier Festival at Cedar Point.

  3. I'm here right now and just imagine the big ugly box gone and a Maverick like coaster right here:

  4. Well, lookie here…. Gotta say, the 2021 Coasterstock T-shirt is incredible… the itinerary is most definitely “coasterstacked”… and there’s even a cool matching wristband. So excited to be returning to this superb event. Counting down the days!!!

  5. For me, The Beast is still a great ride. She is a little rough sometimes, but worth the queue. However, if I were to compare chalk and cheese, The Beast is a much better ride at night than during the day. Hopefully, we can enjoy night rides on The Beast again in the not-too-distant future.

  6. I definitely agree on the trees. As far as intense rides go, I think the great thing about having 10+ roller coasters is that they all don't have to appeal to the entire group of coaster riders. KI has already done this with the family and milder thrill segment, (Adventure Express, Backlot) but hasn't put money into the extreme intensity/forces part of the spectrum at KI (which today I'd say consist of mostly RMC's and Intamin). Just as not every food option is for everyone, I'm ok with not every coaster being for everyone. In the same vane, only a portion of guests go to the waterpark on a consistent basis. Some go all summer, but never go to Haunt. Sometimes one thing you love can be worth more than three things you like. That would be nice, but a big part of me would like to see something along the lines of the old Keelboat Canal. That would bring a lot of Rivertown feel back to the area. I know water rides are not en vogue right now, but someone has to start any given trend. If I were a betting man though, I would say that the next attraction on that site will utilize that building in some way. It's just too big of an asset to part with.

  8. Means nothing. Everyone will think it’s KI. It’s unfortunately but unavoidable. Plus I don’t think people really care that much. Remember when the Kentucky Kingdom incident happened and everyone thought it was Drop Tower? Information going through a 3rd, 4th, 5th party… rarely has great info.

  9. The Beast is absolutely fantastic and re-ridable as long as you're in the right seat. Plus I don't believe there will ever be a coaster that hold the height, speed and length records all at once as it did when it opened. It is truly legendary. That being said giving it the "Racer" treatment would be a good thing.

  10. After riding The Beast yesterday, I can say it's still a great ride, but I'd really like a GG retrack on pretty much every track piece that isn't straight. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  11. It doesn't look like it in the picture, but I thought earlier in the season it looked like they either recoated or sealed over the blacktop and you just see the prints kinda coming thru?

  12. A bunch of people like The Beast. While I do love to hate on the layout a bit and call it boring, I still like the ride and would hate to see such an iconic and legendary wooden coaster that can be considered a national landmark be destroyed or RMC'd.

  13. Here is my review of the cinnamon bread from my PTR: We decided to get some of the cinnamon bread that is at French Corner. I would give it a 4 out of 5. I am not sure how long it had been sitting, but it was a little dry. It really could have been a little more buttery for my taste. Still a great treat offering at the park and would recommend you try it.

  14. Lol. Do people still like Kings Island? I see a lot of people complaining on facebook...

  15. If the hotel would be next to Soak City, why not give it some kind of beach themed name. Example: Castaway Harbor: hotel & lodge. Also, do you think they could add a water maze attraction themed to being stranded on an Island and your goal is to try to get off of it?

  16. Please don't tear out any more trees. In all honesty we don't need intensity. Only a certain age range can deal with intense rides. Look at I-305

  17. I’m not going to lose any sleep for an executive quitting his job due to a pay cut (assuming that’s why he quit). I’m sure if he stuck with the company he’d probably end up with an even bigger compensation compared to his 2019 pay. Most of the time executive compensation is related to company performance so it shouldn’t have come as a shock an executive in an industry heavily effected by economic downturns would experience a pay cut.
