  1. As we are on the cusp of another shutdown, I think Wonderland has handled reopening very poorly. I will admit they were good at first but what I’ve noticed now is crowds are more similar to how I remember prior to COVID. Guests DO NOT social distance anymore. An acquaintance of mine is a ride op at Wonderland and he tells me they try to enforce social distancing but the guests don’t listen. But mentions that rides are outright stopped when guests remove their masks. Bylaw if they chose to could have a field day and charge Wonderland an exorbitant sum of money. Otherwise, Wonderland needs to smarten up! For starters, more security, anyone seen breaking the social distancing rules or mask rules on rides gets removed from the park immediately with no refund. Guests who are season pass holders have their pass revoked. Guests should also be banned for the rest of the season from visiting the park. ICU numbers are climbing and it is getting serious again. For those who can’t understand. Have you ever had your parents tell you why you shouldn’t prank call 9-1-1? Because it ties up potential people in crisis who need 9-1-1 immediately. Its the exact same idea, foolishly engaging in spreading the virus around in crowds fills our hospitals up with covid patients which like my 9-1-1 example leads to patients potentially not being able to receive life saving treatment.

  3. Xtreme Skyflyer wouldn’t look any better in Coney Mall in my opinion.

  4. Kept asking if they could, never stopped to ask if they should.

  5. I feel like Vortex’s spot deserves better. I agree that Action Zone needs some live though, but I don’t think Xtreme Skyflyer belongs in Coney Mall or Rivertown. If Kings Island chooses to expand where Xtreme Skyflyer is, I would prefer it to just be removed entirely. Both Slingshot and Xtreme Skyflyer are kind of ugly rides in my opinion, and I would love for them to be replaced with better rides.

  6. That's the reason I assumed but still feel like they could have at least filled in the space in between the tracks. just have a service road running along the track and plant trees in the empty space that they don't need to go to. Wouldn't mind seeing them move it and Slingshot to Area 72. They could easily fit in with the theme there and open up lots of space in AZ that would make the area more workable for expansion/retheme, and create space for a flat ride in Oktoberfest.

  8. No…but something even better is in the works. The park is busy developing “Paintings” cards that allow the guests to actually be a part of the experience and history of this unique event. The cards come in 6 gallon and 9 gallon denominations and sell for $49.99 and $74.99 respectively. ($5 discount for passholders). Once the guests have finished with either card they will unlock the ability to purchase a limited edition “I Painted It!” T-shirt for just $34.99 ($5 discount for passholders). Be sure to get your early once they go on sale as they will sell out quickly and prices are likely to go up.

  9. I say they are better off moving eXtreme Skyflyer to Vortex's spot and make better use of land in Action Zone. with TW, and Congo Falls

  10. So I hate to hit you guys with a serious comment but I feel like I have to post this. I have already said that I had covid and that it was pretty miserable, but that was the beginning of the sickness and it’s already gone through my whole family, so here goes. I got it first, I immediately started with a 104 degree fever. Highest fever I’ve had in my life, followed by a sore throat that even made it hard to swallow water. Because of this I didn’t eat much and lost a lot of weight. After I was done with the virus, I stayed home for another week not only because my family still had it, but because the virus basically drained me and I was exhausted. My sisters all got it and they had moderate symptoms and did pretty well. My parents however had the same symptoms as me and are still currently dealing with covid pneumonia. This story leads me to say that if you haven’t had covid yet, I would wear a mask for the sake of the unknown. Me and my parents happened to get severe cases and it still kind of affects us to this day, almost a month through it. If you know of anyone with the sickness, try and help them out as much as possible, just like my family and friends did who I am beyond thankful for. So again, if you haven’t had covid yet, I would advise wear the mask, and if anyone you know has it help them out as much as you can. I know I was very ignorant with it at first and after actually getting covid, I am pleading that you take this advice because it might end up severe like what my family had to deal with. Whew, all done. Thanks for reading this!
