  1. Ok so I'm starting this thread for all of the epic lost items on rides stories. Share the most ridiculous ones you have experienced! Here's mine - I rode Vortex and on the first drop the guy in the row right infront of me had a ball cap on and it blew off on the first drop. Whizzes right past my head. Then once we go around that huge turn and enter the first loop, his phone fall off at the top of the loop but apparently the speed of the phone falling and the speed of the coaster train were so in sync that his phone landed in the floor of my row on the train so my dad put his foot on it and held it against the floor until the end of the ride. When we got off the guy was so happy we had his phone and I mean what's the odds of it landing in the row behind you as it fell at the top of the first loop. Idk if he ever got the ball cap back but at least his phone survived!

  3. As the season just wrapped up The Beast Crew and I have been talking about old things that used to be on The Beast that we would like to see make a comeback. We looked at the original music that played on the first lift and the backstory signs near the entrance. I'm interested in what you guys would want to see back at The Beast.

  4. Looks like the higher wages are returning. Glad to see the park is being competitive with wages, although in today's word this rate is expected. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2022/january/5000-jobs-up-for-grabs-at-kings-island-for-50th-anniversary-season-in-2022

  5. I had heard that the plan was to open the IR several years ago from many credible sources. I had heard that it wash pushed back when Chef Major came in so he could have time to develop the menu. Since this was a few years ago at this point, it's safe to say that the plans were either shelved or weren't very serious in the first place. I think their their concentration on the culinary experience of events has shifted their concentration. Personally I'd love to see it opened. Even if it weren't on the meal plan. It likely wouldn't be. It would be cool to go up there for a nice meal for special occasions. Especially if you could schedule a reservation on the app or something. The original intent was to have it open all year, although I don't see that happening. The IR is used quite often for special events. In addition to that it is used for employee training and meeting space. Although it is not open to the public very often, it's still very much a used space.

  6. How about a funpix on-ride picture booth for Racer?

  7. The Brewhouse will morph into something else when craft brewery fad ends. I like the idea too, but it's better to use timeless theming than today's fads.

  8. The Racer queue, the Tiques queues, and the Carousel have/had some of my favorite architecture and theming in the park, too. Also- Racer Radio in the lower queue please.

  9. My wife has consistently stated that she wished the dining plan had a snack option, for things like an Auntie Ann`s Pretzel, or when she just wants fries from Rivertown Potato Works but doesn`t want a whole mean. Weren`t they testing that at one of the other Cedar Fair parks back in 2019?

  10. One thing I hope they do with Racer also is completely revamp the queue. Keep the style, but remove half the queue not used and put in some plants or something, spruce it up. Then do the same for old man Beast when it turns 50.
