  1. We were working on cleaning out my grandmas house and found some old souvenirs. Thought I would share. Can't wait to get this framed!!

  2. Some more marking showing up on the edge of old Columbia road. Some are for excavation and gas line relocation. Judging by where previous markers were seen during Covid and removed I’m thinking we are seeing the beginning of an new and updated front gate area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. The Street Party is indeed fun! It's a nice complement to the already-impressive lineup of Golden Celebration offerings. We're very fortunate to have such a terrific slate of entertainment produced specifically for Kings Island this season!

  4. Can confirm start and stops are basically gone. Saw it park in one stop today on one of my twelve Beast rides (I like Beast ) One major issue I noticed that was NOT present last time I visited is a rather big pothole, or what could be called a fun bump. Immediately after the second trim, what feels like the right side of the train jolts up for a split second then falls back in line with the track. This is much more noticeable in the front than the back, but still not undistinguished. Anyone have an idea how recent this is?

  5. Oh, ok. That makes sense. Didn't realize the waterfall water propelled the boat forward to finish the course. Though it's unfortunate what caused this to happen, what a cool and unique ride experience to get.

  6. The boat pictured was stalled right there. With no waterfall, it was floating forwards and backwards until the waterfall water was turned back on.

  7. Surveying and preliminary engineering does not require a permit. A zone change is not required, so the park could wait until final plans are produced and submit for permits then if it works with their schedule.

  8. City of Mason and Warren County don't always have all documents online. Sometimes preliminary approval is given without paperwork officially submitted, and later filed when the project is commencing.

  9. Oh Coney, if only you would of just invested into more rides you wouldn't have to do things like this to be relevant.

  10. @Oldschool75, would such a project require some documentation with the City of Mason or Warren County? I know just surveying probably does not require anything as of now.

  11. Many of the rides, both young and old, were suffering from heat exhaustion this week and were taking frequent breaks

  14. Lol, reading thru this post I got a chuckle out of the person that said they took some pics and would post them after they got them developed....there is a whole set of members here too young who have no idea what that means lol. "What do you mean develop - I take a picture and then see it on my phone"

  15. I guess needless speculation about "land clearing" dates back 20 years at least.

  18. My hope is this show is a smash.. and gets held over into next season (as shows used to do waaaaaay back in the day,,, Celebration etc.) But more importantly, I hope its a smash and sends a message about how, to this very day, the attraction remains immensely popular... (I plan on seeing the show tomorrow... VERY excited!)
