  2. I don't think CF is going to budge from its position at this point.

  4. Well, this is interesting... https://www.kmjnow.com/2022/10/25/heart-of-california-theme-park-coming-to-fresno-you-can-push-the-idea-with-a-signature/

  5. I love how the park has continued being back the modern equivalents of previous attractions and I personally feel like the Phantom Theater deserves to be next. God knows when we're going to get a coaster to replace Vortex but I would be more than happy to wait if we got a phantom theater announcement! (This is coming from someone who was born the year it closed so no memory of it whatsoever). I think it looked like a killer dark ride and give it a really good theme and story it could rival many park's dark rides. I think the action theater is the perfect location if it's a big enough building. If not it's probably still the perfect location. I would also love to see something done with the old Tomb raider building. Does anyone else think that the hype of reopening the crypt would be way more epic than what's in the shed? I mean nobody has been inside the Crypt for 10 years.... what is going on in there? Wether it's a top spin or drop ride like tower of terror themed to an archeology dig shaft it would be awesome and probably the best themed/story ride given the legacy Tomb Raider the ride and The Crypt left behind. Not quite sure how it fits with the Rivertown theme but hey it was epic before and didn't really fit...I just think it would be epic to reopen the crypt and take an adventure into whatever madness awaits us in the darkness of that building

  6. If the existing theming would actually be restored to working order it would be something. So, I'm definitely for mist/fog... runaway mine train at six flags over tx had a fog machine in it's first tunnel (for fright fest probably) but it added a really cool touch to the ride experience. They should definitely do something like that with AE 3rd tunnel because it's so fast it'll be over before anyone has the chance to suffocate in the fog. Anyway, I would like to see the final tunel repainted and updated with better audio. Other tunnels just spruce up what is there. The ride should have some projection lights or something to light up the trees or scenery at night. Basically enhance the night Rides. Even if they just touch up the que and add a few thematic elements like they did FoF que when building Orion (meteor with mist, barrels, etc) One final thing is probably something I only have an issue with how boring the que tunnel is...like I would like to be able to watch as they dispatch the trains because that's so much more interesting than watching the fun TVs! As it's constructed currently, I have to squint through the cracks in the boards to watch the dispatched trains. Makes the line feel shorter if you can watch the ride while waiting. Sadly Firehawk was the master of that... you could see the entire circuit from that que!

  10. The other two ingredients are balsamic vinaigrette and sunflower seeds. Both of which added a lot to the taste.

  11. Is Oktoberfest going anywhere? We lose Biergarden, but everything else stays the same. It mostly is an untamed area getting an update afaik.

  12. And I don’t think CF will let them take any rides as well.

  15. I've been to the following parks - Kings Island, Cedar Point, Strickers Grove, Coney Island (Cincinnati), Kentucky Kingdom, Kennywood, Knobles, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Hershey Park, Camden Park, Lakemont Park, Universal Studios, Universal Island of Adventure, Disney World (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom), Six Flags Over TX, Six Flags Over GA, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags St Louis, Six Flags Great Adventure, Dollywood. I haven't been to Dollywood since 2013 so that one is probably due for a revisit.

  16. I'm trying to go vegetarian, went to Hank's and got a bowl with rice, black beans, guac, sour cream and cheese with some hot sauce from Skyline. Probably one of the best items I've had from there.

  17. Sidenote/off topic - this is the kind of soundscape that would be perfect "white noise" to play in the background at home. Would love if there was a 1-hour track of this available.

  18. The perils of midway shots. It's worse when you're doing a photo tour in the waterpark, glad I don't have to do that anymore.

  19. I think this will be a great addition to KI. As much as I hate to see Octoberfest go, it seems phasing it out has been happening over the years. I do like suggestions that I have read about including it more in the International Street part of KI. Seems very fitting and I would love to see it become more international like it was, years ago.

  20. Nice trip report. I want to make some suggestions, but I'm not sure if what parks you have visited previously. This park is on my bucket list of places I want to visit.

  21. Whatever coaster design is chosen it will be an already proven, reliable people eater. When Terp was still on the forum and Banshee was announced, he felt it some of KI's criteria going forward. I think by what we have seen that is still true today.

  24. I have an idea: relocate Shake, Rattle, & Roll to another location within the park and have a station at both ends of the Coney Mall midway

  25. I remember seeing the Coney Mall refurbishment over on Youtube that went over the Coney Mall midway (which i loved) and would really wish to see that installed. I mean I would really like to see if the basketball game and rope climb games would be good from an income stand point. if those two locations where removed, you could possibly easily fit a skyride entrance there and work it down through Coney Mall. The Other entrance/exit could be located near WindSeeker and Vortex behind/next to / near WindSeekers evacuation platforms. An interview wiith the Disney SkyRide Manufacturer, Doppelmayr: and said Coney Mall video:
