It depends on your point of view. If you perceive them that they're upside down, when you believe yourself to be looking at them right side up then yes they're upside down, but if you're upside down, and then they're right side up. It is all perception, and a lesson to learn about how everyone perceives an issue.3 points

Have you pulled up the Orion or Diamondback cams lately? Both are upside down and I think both from the Orion cam. Did they get bumped or what?1 point

Mobile ordering for hanks looks to be fully functional (minus requiring me to be at the park). Interesting timing, as I don’t think hanks will be serving Mexican during winterfest and will instead be Mac and cheese bar. But looks promising for the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

We got season passes for next year, which we haven't done since 2019. As a little preview trip we visited the park for my son's birthday in October. The soft pretzel at Miami River Brewhouse was fantastic, much bigger than I expected it to be, and the cheese dip was great. Three of us were able to share it. I also got the chicken and waffles, and that was pretty awesome as well. As we were heading out of the park we got a caramel apple and a cookie at the Sweet Spot. My son said the cookie was great, the caramel apple tasted great but the caramel was really hard on my teeth. For some reason I expected it to be a softer caramel. I guess I haven't had a caramel apple in a really long time. I will say the staff at the Sweet Spot are wonderful people! Will definitely stop in there again. Anyway, with that preview I'm super looking forward to our dining plan kicking in next year! Also really excited for Winterfest. My favorite thing at Winterfest was always the cherry funnel cake so I can't wait to have that again if they're still doing it.1 point

Written by someone who does not know the history of the coaster, or the park. PTC did not design or build it, they had already stopped building coasters several years before this. They have the designer correct, Curtis Summers. But they worked for KECO, Kings Entertainment Company, owned by Taft Broadcasting, the company that owned the park and built the park. This coaster just like The Beast was done in house. Then they go on to credit coaster designs to Summers he did not design, including The Racer, Racer 75, and Woodstock Express. Which were all actually built by PTC and designed by John Allen.1 point

How about one of those drive thru places where you can load up on snacks and drinks? Also a combo Skyline/LaRosa's/Graeters.1 point

According to the Cincinnati Business Courier, the new apartment complex will be along Beach Boulevard to the west of the beach waterpark. Here's a screenshot of Beach Boulevard from Google Earth: Also the developer for this complex is based out of Indy. I believe the one who purchased the beach is based out of Lexington. Also, according to a statement in the CBC article, it says that the beach will likely be developed for a different purpose: "Milhaus has not had any direct conversations with the new owner of the Beach property, but the developer plans to extend the Beach Boulevard road connection to the north to help link the surrounding district, Vogelsmeier said. The Beach came under new ownership this fall, and its new owner has since said he plans to redevelop the site for a different purpose." Really? I would LOVE to see that everywhere, and my favorite ride crew at CP this year was that of GateKeeper for that very reason, all of the spieling was recorded and automated and it was wonderfully efficient. In regards to my favorite KI ride crew of 22, it was Orion hands down. I first took notice when I was watching the webcam on a day it was raining on and off, and it seriously looked like a KNEX set as there was always a train moving. Seeing a train going up the lift hill just as train 2 was cresting the hill after the turnaround and train 3 was easing its way into the station was a thing of beauty! I noticed on each trip I made to the park that it was no fluke, as the crew was consistently that good all season. The only time it wasnt a constant, steady movement of trains was when there were special circumstances, so a big tip of the hat to them! Notable mention must go to Millies crew at CP as mentioned above, they were on it big time as well!!1 point

Couldn't agree more. Actually if a ground up floorless roller coaster was built, it would have the newer vest restraints on it. Now I know some people don't like the vest restraints, but for me they're comfortable. That's just me though. Anyway though, if the track was a little wider on Rougarou, they probably could have put the vest restraints on that ride. For me, I love Rougarou the way it is, but I'm crazy. Anyway I'm getting off topic here, but I think a floorless would be great in that spot.1 point

The other two ingredients are balsamic vinaigrette and sunflower seeds. Both of which added a lot to the taste.1 point

International Street LaRosa's. They are premade so no customization.1 point

I didn't even know that had specialty pizzas like this; which in-park LaRosa's locations have them? Also, what is on the pesto pizza, and is it possible to get just cheese and pesto?1 point

I'm trying to go vegetarian, went to Hank's and got a bowl with rice, black beans, guac, sour cream and cheese with some hot sauce from Skyline. Probably one of the best items I've had from there.1 point

Pesto pizza from LaRosa’s. Good, not great. They actually gave three pieces instead of breadsticks. I ate one before I remember to take a picture. My friend got the baked potato pizza. I originally wanted it, but they didn’t have any ready. He opted to wait for it. He got the pizza and it was ice cold. No exaggeration. Almost as if it was placed in the oven wasn’t on. It was all precooked so I actually tried a little piece and it tasted really good. I want to try an actually cooked piece this weekend.1 point

Had Hank's for the first time tonight and it was good! Got a "bowl" (basically rice, meat (steak), cheese and salsa without the soft taco) + nachos/salsa and it was good. The only problem is, I couldn't eat both as the bowl was so big. Because of this, I finished some of bowl and ate all of the chips. I think if I eat there again (or if they have a similar menu as Enrique's), I'll really take my time eating (or maybe just order one of the two) as I was eating in Coney Maul, and it's hard to eat and party at the same time!.1 point

It had what I would call green residue on the bottom- like maybe it was in there and baked out or something. So no, no green filling was actually in there.1 point

Did you have a green icing in the middle? It seems like it has that filling about half the time. It’s never exactly in the middle, and it’s never consistent. Very good, though!1 point

Just tried one of these- so good! Mine only had 5 M&Ms on top. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, exactly how I like a cookie. Flavor was very dark-chocolate-y. Like a brownie gave a cookie a chocolate hug.1 point
