  2. well I guess. i prefer the paper cup option just because I do not want to carry a cup around all day. you can get a new one every 15 minutes. In addition do not have to worry about storing it when you go on a coaster.

  3. I wonder how long they’re going to wait till they announce the new ride, and what is being taken out. The sooner the better!

  4. It's not too often I see a ride return, but Phantom Theater is one that I wouldn't mind. However, I am not too confident that KI will do this. I do see Boo Blasters going and re-purposed for a new ride. Will be interesting to see what the future holds for it. As far as a new coaster, I'm sure whatever they are planning to go into the old Vortex plot is going to be a real crowd pleaser and fantastic choice. There's no coaster in recent memory that I do not believe delivered a great ride experience.

  5. I think we’ll see Phantom Theater return in 2024 and see construction that year for 2025 but that’s just me

  6. KI really needs a multi launch in their line up. I was thinking something from Mack or if TTD goes well then I could see Zamperla multi launch. I am hoping 24 but I could very well see a 2025 or 2026 coaster. We will find out in the coming few months!!

  7. Why not a spinning coaster, like a MACK Extreme Spinner themed to a Virginia Reel in Coney Mall. Could even tie it in with the old Coney Island/ old school amusement midway theme.

  8. Or use my idea, having the building to look like a RiverTown Mining Company's Workers den.

  10. Paint the building in forest camo, or even just green if it's getting reused though, the warehouse look doesn't really work.

  11. Though the sign is still there, I completely forgot about the KI conference center (I knew it under this name) itself until finding this thread. I went there once for a church retreat in (I think?) Middle School; I don't remember if we stayed there, but I do remember there being sessions in the different rooms and one was about helping parents bridge the gap between Christian and secular music. At the end, I got a "Listen Louder" mix cd (from 1998; the retreat was in the 2000's), which I still have. It's actually a pretty cool CD with a good mix of hit songs from the time period (including some remixes) as well as some worship songs.

  12. The bigger question will be is someone actually buys it. Good luck with your KCKC water Shaggy.

  13. That ride looks like a very dynamic ride, that is sure to be a family hit. I am sure that this ride will be relocated to another Cedar Fair park, once California`s Great America closes. It seems like almost all of the ride installations at Cedar Fair this year are from Zamperla.

  15. The Windstarz planning plans have now been approved. The building permit is now in processing. There still hasn't been word on what is getting removed.

  16. I would want to see Phantom Theater return if it were a new ride in a new building (like The Crypt building) and not just a retheme of Boo Blasters. I think we need MORE indoor rides, so gaining one while losing another, even if the new ride is slightly better, would not be ideal. I do think, though, that Planet Snoopy and Soak City need love, and those two areas may get attention before we see a new Phantom Theater. Action Zone also needs some love. If Kings Island were willing to build a whole new show building, a new Phantom Theater could actually work really well with an Action Zone retheme to something more haunted.

  17. I would be all for making the height of the last building a little smaller. It doesn't need to be that tall anymore since the crypt isn't in the building anymore. I know it would cost extra money to do that, but you would be able to see more of Diamondback going thru the course instead of a big giant eyesore building.
