Cargo Loco construction is moving along.

So I just noticed on the KI website they are no mention of Fast Lane Plus, and only Fast Lane. The Fast Lane Plus rides are now listed with the rest of the Fast Lane rides. Sounds like to me we will only have one type of Fast Lane now, I know Carowinds went this route a few years ago. Cedar Point still list both options. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

I always felt like the Plus system devalued some of KI’s rides. Of course newer rides are more popular out the gate so it makes sense that they’re on the plus system, but I always felt like coasters that aren’t on the plus (like Banshee and Diamondback) were deemed “not worthy” and therefore indirectly devalued them.

I seen alot of people going up and upgrading to the Plus when they found out they need that for all rides. But I bet they will sell Fast Lane at the higher price that Plus was. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

The concrete for 72 was to fit with the flight base theme. Flight bases have concrete/blacktop.

That's too bad. If Knoebels, Dorney, and Kennywood didn't already have their respective Whips, I'd hope for it to go their way. If KI wanted to, say, reimagine Coney Mall to be more like the Coney Island of old and kick that off by snatching this up, I sure wouldn't mind!

On April 8, 2024 a full eclipse will pass through Cedar Point while a full/partial will pass through Kings Island. How cool would it be if Cedar Fair announced a way to ride some of their roller coasters during the eclipse! Since these events only last a few minutes only a select few trains would be able to achieve such a ride experience so I'd expect this to most likely end up being an exclusive event. But man what I wouldn't give to ride The Beast during this! Edit: WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE TO RIDE THE VOYAGE!!!

I think this is a good move. I know a lot of guests get angry when they cannot use their Fast Lane passes on all the top attractions because they unknowingly bought the wrong pass.

You are right. Kings Island has completely removed Fast Lane Plus. All the rides that were on FLP are now listed on Fast Lane. I wonder if this is because how long the lines were at Haunt. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Also this isn’t about Fast Lane but I found it interesting. Cedar Point offers 4 Experiences. Only 2 are listed on the website that they will be going on sale soon. I wonder why they took off those experiences.

If you are visiting this week Kings Island will not be open. It is not open until April.

Curious, but why do you care? I simply don't attend concerts I am not interested in. They have as much right as any other festival or musical act. I've been attending KI since year 2 and haven't been able to justify attending any concert there, Christian or otherwise, when I come for the rides. However, many people enjoy this kind of activity and it seems to make money, so I have no issue with it. To add to this, I would also be ok with a Muslim themed concert or any other religion, for that matter.

Fair, but I feel like a darker black or grey paver color would have worked just fine. Kings Island could have even used lighter colored pavers to make the ground look like a runway. I think that would have looked and aged better. On a side note, I think he would be awesome if Kings Island hired IMAscore to create a custom soundtrack for Adventure Port. I think that would add a lot to the new area.

That is a good sign. While the concrete in Oktoberfest did not look that bad as it was relatively new (it was poured when Banshee opened), pavers make any area look way better. I was honestly a little disappointed when Kings Island decided to pour new concrete in Area 72 after digging out the old concrete. It just does not age as well as pavers or look as nice. It is better than asphalt, though. The asphalt walkway between Area 72 and Coney Mall already looks pretty bad with all its cracks after only a few years.

well I guess. i prefer the paper cup option just because I do not want to carry a cup around all day. you can get a new one every 15 minutes. In addition do not have to worry about storing it when you go on a coaster.

I hope they do sell them at the higher price, obviously to make more money for the park.
