This would be an ideal event should the park ever move to year round operations. With most of the rides in Planet Snoopy being able to operate in colder temperatures, having the Peanuts Celebration during a seemingly “dead” period could offer a reason for families to visit.

Wonder why we only got this one year. It’s really developed a lot more and would be a great “early season” driver. So much of the content has already been produced for Knotts and by a lot of it being character driven, it’s mostly voice dubbed. Wish we brought this back and expanded it to this level for a month or so when the park is open just weekends. weekends, then an early summer Carnivale, late summer BBQ, craft and music fest, then haunt. I absolutely agree. It would be a perfect early-season event. After the expanded ambition of the Golden Celebration season I was hopeful that 2023 was the season we'd finally see it happen again.

Good observation. This likely means that the area will remain concrete instead of pavers, but I hope Kings Island does a good job with it.

Interesting answer. So how did it come to pass that most every other park adopted the individual lap bars? The cost to change over for a park like KI (with 7 trains) was certainly not trivial. I’ve always thought it interesting that even Holiday World transitioned Raven only a few years after it opened, yet Knoebels has not. When it was asked, I honestly wish that PTC would have said, “No, but simply adding seat belts will work just as well if not better”. I really enjoyed riding Hershey Comet last summer with buzz bars. My legs did too. And not to beat a dead horse, but I wish they would have asked about turning a train backwards. My understanding is that Racer and others don’t run backwards because the Manufacturer doesn’t recommend it, but I’ve never understood why specifically, especially since they ran backwards for many years without problems (to my knowledge). In any case, thanks for posting. I enjoy these kinds of podcasts where I meet the great people who make the fun possible.

The concrete for 72 was to fit with the flight base theme. Flight bases have concrete/blacktop.

well I guess. i prefer the paper cup option just because I do not want to carry a cup around all day. you can get a new one every 15 minutes. In addition do not have to worry about storing it when you go on a coaster.

It would be cool if he was still on and it would be interesting to hear his thoughts on a variety of recent topics. However, I don’t doubt his influence and legacy are still present on KIC
