And keep in mind that this also means most rides have not been able to have their morning inspections and start-ups, so some rides could be hours before opening after power is restored depending on where it was in the start-up procedures.
A squirrel LOL

Although I do not think this was accurate...."Shortly before 10:30 a.m., a park spokesman told FOX19 NOW most rides were up and running again."
Duke Energy estimates a restoration time of 11:15a for outages covering part of the park. They claim "something" came in contact with their power lines. Could be fully back up and running before the map updates, or parts of the park/waterpark could still be out.

I ALMOST headed to the park this morning for a couple of hours before heading home, I am glad I decided to forego that thought now after seeing this. On the subject of yesterday, thank you to all of the ride crews for toughing out a hot and humid afternoon and putting in the extra effort to keep things moving quickly!
Paramount has done something similar, so sure it can be done, but it tends to cheapen up the place.
Anybody remember Top Gun brought to you by Gillette?
Heck even CF has before - anyone remember Fast Lane brought to you by McCluskey Chevrolet?
The park is currently experiencing a power outage. The line is very long because the metal detectors aren’t working.
Edit: The metal detectors appear to have regained power. I haven’t seen any rides testing.
