  1. Don't know who sold you tickets, but the policy (starting 2016 season) was that tickets were valid for two hours. Obviously, there are exceptions to the rule (downtime, slow days, etc.), but for 99% of the time, that's the case. Source: Working in AZ 2015-2016
  2. Price starts at 10. Generally, if you go early enough they'll sell you a pair for 5 each. The price will rise to 15-20 on weekdays and 20-25 on weekends. Once the price goes up, it will not go back down. Also, there is a two hour limit if I remember correctly, meaning you must ride or at least be in line within two hours of purchasing your ticket. 3. I think it's interesting to see when and where additions were made throughout the parks. While it doesn't necessarily dictate the future, I still think it's a cool thing to have.
  4. I think you're over-thinking this...
  5. My guess is some kind of dark ride, either in the big box or replacing boo blasters.
  6. He is a private lesson teacher for a lot of the trumpet players at Mason High School. I took lessons from him for a while. Great guy
  7. That's great to hear! He's an awesome player and teacher!
  8. https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/745006282114015232 Thoughts?
  9. I don't see skyflyer leaving anytime soon, as it's still a big money maker for the park. Although if they're planning something in there area of Action Zone in the future then maybe.
  10. If you turn off 3D, it'll go to a more current map
  11. Interesting discussion here
  12. I actually talked to Chef Nathan today. (Great guy - say hi to him when you see him!) I've spoken to him and a few others about the food lines. I do know a few Executive Chef's in real life and was super impressed that he was focused on Front of House as well as Back of House. It did resound to me that he was taking the time to observe the lines. This means they are at least going to attempt to do something. Chef Nate is a nice guy and personable.I have met and spoke with him many times. I know many people that are nice and personable but don't understand or know what they are doing. And that is all I will say about that... I don't think this is the thread to be throwing personal jabs in...

    Project 2017?

I think the most realistic location for a giga would be with the station being where dinos is right now. There doesn't look to be enough space in the blue location, and even if there was, I don't think they'd want to ruin the wooded area around Rivertown. That's just my opinion though.
  14. I saw WindSeeker testing yesterday while going to pick up some paperwork.
  15. There are some LARGE changes in the department this season.
  16. I think Skyflyer is the better ride personally. Also, you can usually get Skyflyer tickets for $5 if you go early in the day
  17. I don't believe the rides listed can really be compared, for many reasons. For one, it's a mixture of roller coasters and flat rides. Also, slingshot and skyflyer are paid attractions (you have to pay to ride), which could affect someone's opinion on if it's "better" than the others.

    Project 2017?

Maybe it's one of the new basketball games that was announced on the food blog? That'd be my guess.
  19. I don't see those warehouses going anywhere soon. They've housed storage and maintenance for a very long time.

What about the land where Dinosaurs Alive is right now? I would love a GCI terrain woodie there.

    Project 2017?

I could see them removing or relocating Invertigo and maybe taking out Timberwolf(?) and building in that area. That could potentially fit the current trend of front entrance-crossing rides (Fury, Gatekeeper). This would drastically change the skyline of the park, which would be a nice change. Is Timberwolf used enough for it to be worth keeping? Actually, that seems like too tight of a squeeze for a giga, and Congo Falls would be in the way as well. Maybe behind Banshee and use the old path that led to SOB?
