  1. Please list off one thing that makes you think it's going to be a coaster. lolThat wasn't my point. My point is please at least skim through the pages before posting your "unique" reason as to why it "definitely is/is not a coaster" because somebody else most likely said it earlier already Hello, at least read my post before accusing me of not reading anything. I've read every post in this thread. I've been posting in it since the beginning. I was here for the whole 2014 decoding thread. I definitely didn't say it definitely isn't a coster. I just said I don't think it is and listed out the reasons I don't think it is.I clearly said there is enough time to do it if they choose to. I didn't say there isn't enough room for a coaster. I said that taking out individual trees does not give them enough room for a ride path. I listed out facts about the construction process and why it limits their time for a 2017 opening. Are they still teaching reading comprehension in High School? Kids these days.... I never accused you of anything actually. I was just stating in general because it has occurred multiple times in this thread. It was more of a "hey everyone, please stop stating what's been stated 10 times already." You just assumed I was speaking to you because you were guilty of it. Did they even teach reading comprehension years ago? Adults these days... OOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!! REKT!!!Edit: sorry for quoting quoted quotations that were quoted by quoting.
  2. Well...we have Adventure Express. It's a "5" on the thrill rating and Racer is a "4" but it is NOT more thrilling than The Racer. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk Adventure Express is like a -2
  3. I kind of hope Kings Island gets a family coaster like a wild mouse or something. I know that probably isn't going to happen, but still. The "scariest" kid coaster is probably Woodstock express, but there really isn't anything between that and something like racer (which kids would probably consider one of the "big" coasters) KI needs something of moderate thrill, something to adjust kids to big coasters. Just my opinion though.
  4. I'll be glad to have it at KD if you don't want it... -.-
  5. Why do people hate Vortex so much? I'll admit, I haven't been to KI yet (I will go in about a month though), but if Vortex is anything like Anaconda at Kings Dominion than I think it's a great ride. Just heed this advice: keep your head out! Edit: Credit goes to Rhyano for providing me with that advice. Works great for Anaconda at least.
  6. Fury 325 was Carowinds 38th anniversary. The last coaster at Cedar Point that opened on a 5 or 10 anniversary was MF. Unless you count Rougarou. Leviathan was on CW's 31st anniversary. KD's intimidator did open on the 35th anniversary, but for the 40th, they got Soak City and lost shockwave. So unless you count every year as an anniversary year... Um M8 KI is getting a 1000 foot 226 mph mega extreme B&M for its 45.67537th anniversary. Don't deny the obvious!!!
  7. True. But a lot of people are. It almost seems like everyone to me.
  8. ^ yeah, that's just what I was thinking. Also, what's with all the people saying there should be a giga going between the picnic pavilions and the waterpark? That honestly sounds like something paramount would have done! I can think of multiple things that would take the experience away from. 1. The Railroad. Do I even have to explain this? If a giga is built there it would be basically on top of about 1/2 of the railroad. Along with Diamondback also being right over some of it. I don't think the railroad will be as nice as it is now if it is paralleled to a giant roaring B&M. 2. The Picnic Pavilions. This is a place for people to take a break from the park. A fairly peaceful section most of the time, especially good for parents. A giant B&M would basically have the same problem as the train. 3. White Water Canyon: this is another thing that is supposed to be isolated from the rest of the park. I just don't see a giant giga going over it working. I don't know about you guys, but I will be majorly disappointed if KI does this. If a coaster is going to take away from the experience in other parts of the park then I don't want it. *cough* Backlot *cough*
  9. ^ the thing about a gci though is that GP might just not be excited about new wooden coasters anymore since Son of Beast was such a tragedy.
  10. All you need to do to get models on Google earth is turn terrain and 3D buildings on.
  11. I really hope KI does not put a giga there... First of all, if it is that close to Diamondback then I can guarantee that Diamondback is going to look way less intimidating. It also just might look weird having two giant B&Ms right next to each other. Second of all, I HATE the idea of modernizing Rivertown! With the addition of Diamondback alone it took away a lot of the charm Rivertown had. Not to mention how much more crowded it would be... Just look at Old Virginia at Kings Dominion, they kept most of the trees, and didn't add anything too major there, and it's probably the nicest place in the park! I would certainly much rather a giga go to the xbase area. That would be an extremely better fit.
  12. The Beast. I haven't been to KI yet so I don't have any experiences on it, but it just looks fun.
