Another clue is coming!!- 8

Nobody has stated the obvious that asteroids caused the Dinosaurs to go extinct and ties in with Dinosaurs Alive which this runs through.
When researching the crater Chicxulub and the asteroid that made dinosaurs go extinct, I found this mission executed in 2016 (around the time that this roller coaster project would’ve been forming) that I thought sounded interesting. It also may just be my optimism that the height will be 350+ feet.- 1

Also regarding the clues this morning, could the page numbers hold any significance? I first thought it was odd that it began at Page 08. It looks like the destruction of the binder was due to a shredder versus removing pages. Also I thought it was odd to have it as Page 08 rather than Page 8. That made me think that the page titled ‘Welcome to Project X New Hire’ could reference something in 2008. That was a year that a lot of CF changes were made apparent in the park as well as the year that DB was announced. I don’t know if that could be something as simple as saying that B&M was the ‘New Hire’ for KI in 2008 and is also working on Project X or maybe something deeper. Here was an old video I found after doing some minimal research that explains some of the things going on in 2008

I think the picture of the "major key" that showed the splashdown could hint a dive coaster. Griffon at BGW has a splashdown and has a 200ft+ drop like DB as seen in the picture

So if it was something like Helix or Prowler you guys would be upset? Well you guys have a good chance of being dissapointed, I wouldn't rule it out but there are too many possibilities to lock myself into one team.
I'm not saying I would be upset. By no means would I say "Dang we got a helix-like roller coaster". I'm just saying that I would prefer a Giga Coaster over anything else

For me, Giga or bust. Save the trees.

Ill be super disappointed if this ain't a giga coaster. I feel like it is, but a lot of people are saying we're going to get a wooden coaster and I hope that's not the case.
I feel the same way. I am fine with just having The Racer and The Beast at Kings Island. That is enough wooden coasters for me. However, we don't have anything like a Giga Coaster.

Like I said. This site is being divided by people who want a Giga, and those who think we aren't probably getting one.
I am on both sides of the argument then. I am one who wants a Giga at Kings Island, but I don't think they will be receiving one in 2017

I still think that a Giga is the biggest gap in the KI roller coaster line up. The Beast and Racer can suffice my wooden roller coaster needs

Really random thought, but what color do you guys want/what color does the park need. I think a bright green color that really sticks out would be cool, especially if it is a giga

Any bright color. Green would be my favorite. Maybe resembling the bright green that is in the color scheme of Fury325

I agree. By August it will have been 3 months since the falling trees poster was put up. This is plenty of time to hype a good ro-oh I mean ride or attraction coming in 2017

If they announce on August 1st, that brings it down to 324. However, the pages will likely speed up when there is more evidence for a certain type of ride or roller coaster

If my calculations are correct, considering Kings Island will announce the ride on the last day of the season, and that we continue at our current pace (12 pages/4 days), this thread will reach 594 pages.

A launched winged coaster by B&M could be possible if it is a coaster. It could be themed to a bird. That can relate to trees. It may be that the bird is upset that the trees are being chopped down.

Yeah, looks like it is just a space filler, but they could have put Vortex or another ride there. It could be a hint that has been ignored as we all just think it is a space filler though.
That's what I was thinking. They could have always put Vortex, Invertigo, or even Planet Snoopy since it is a record-winning kids section. They could claim it was a space filler but they have so many other options.

Why would there be 2 though. There is clearly one in the middle. Vortex could have always been drawn thereThat still looks like DB to me.

I don't know if this relates to the new ride in 2017, but why is there an extra coaster that resembles Diamondback in the Kings Island picture on the Cedar Fair website. I circled the coasters at KI and put the extra one in a black circle.???

If it is a coaster, I am leaning towards these three coaster types: B&M Giga, GCI wooden, or B&M Winged. RMC has not been known to work with Cedar Fair which makes me think it will not be RMC. GCI and B&M have worked with CF in the past few years with Goldstriker(GCI2013), Banshee(B&M2014AtKI), Fury 325(B&M2015), and Valravn (B&M2016)

If a roller coaster, especially a Giga but a wooden as well, is built in the Rivertown falling trees area, then some changes will have to be made to the Kings Island map. The space in Rivertown is much larger in real life than what it is on the park map

The lift hill for Fury 325 was topped off in early December of 2014. I would suspect our Giga will have a similar timeline of construction
