  1. Walking in now, it's filling up quick though Sent from my Pip-Boy 3000 via Tapatalk
  2. I think I'd like to go to that. -Harlan, who's name has never been printed on anything in the history of printing names on things. Except in Eastern Kentucky.
  3. I can view the live stream no problem. It's not live though. Its a live feed of 1 still shot every 5 minutes.
  4. Also that http://pixelcaster.com/live/kingsisland/ points to California's Great America. Someone mentioned it on a different thread too I believe
  5. It's a shame the live feed is just stills though. And from what I can tell, I still have to manually refresh the page at the end of every 5 min interval to get the new still.
  6. Was there something I missed? It seems from reading other threads that the KI webcams used to actually be "live feed", however whenever I've gone to view them, they update in 5 min intervals. I actually can't remember them ever being "live", but I've only started visiting them regularly fairly recently. Have they always been this way?
  7. "It's not been about a profit," Fehnel said. "It's been about history." Yes. More of this. Places like Bushkill aren't just a park, they can provide a sense of closeness within a community. It's great to see that someone still recognizes that.
  8. Beyond that, look for a confirmation or receipt you would've been emailed when you purchased. It'll be a line item there. Sent from my Pip-Boy 3000 via Tapatalk
  9. An easy way is thru the app. Go to "my passes" on the left side panel. Scan your pass to add it. On your e-pass, if there is a dining plan it will be specified. Yeah yeah, so I didn't make it to opening day. Haha Sent from my Pip-Boy 3000 via Tapatalk
  10. You'll want to go to https://paymentportal.accesso.com/kingsisland/login And manage payments/credit cards there. Hope that helps! Sent from my Pip-Boy 3000 via Tapatalk
  11. Fantastic! I'll be sure to listen this weekend as well. Appreciate what you do.
  12. I am genuinely curious about this. I've only seen electronic passes mentioned a couple times on the forums here. >Was there an official announcement regarding support for electronic passes? >Have you used this feature yet, and do you like it? >Is the GP aware of this feature yet? I just kinda "discovered" it in the app after renewing my gold pass at the end of last year. I know (at least for iOS) the feature was added in September '15. So I imagine this year would be the first time many of us will use it. I mentioned in a different thread earlier today that since I can put a pass into Apple wallet, that means I can scan my Apple Watch any time my pass is needed (probably as close to a Disney "magic band" as we'll ever get ) I'll be trying this out tomorrow at the park and reporting back here how it goes!
  13. I see a huge potential here for coaster enthusiasts in particular. Using things like geofencing, data aggregation, phone accelerometer, and similar methods, you could build a set of "coaster tools" for things as simple as tracking how many times you have ridden coaster x, how many total minutes/hours you have spent on coaster x, etc. You could link the app to social media to tweet or share when you have taken your 100th ride, 200th ride..all customizeable of course. Link out to weather sites to check if those dark clouds overhead really do mean a thunderstorm warning is about to be issued and rides are about to go down. Just a few ideas here. If you're planning somewhat of an "all-inclusive" app as you state, then the sky's the limit tbh. I'd use the heck out of it.
  14. I'm always mildly surprised and pleased when I catch a show in the 'Haus (being one that never bothers to check show schedules). But no matter where you sit, after a few minutes the noise level really does rag on you. Id definitely like to check out Origins this year as well. Sent from my Pip-Boy 3000 via Tapatalk
  15. A must have feature for me would have to be the ability to store my pass inside the app (which you mentioned), and have a way to load it up quickly. I know for the iOS version of the KI app, I can save my pass to my Wallet and load it up as a QR code. (was this functionality in the app last year? If it was, I completely missed it.) Taking that a step further, since my Wallet replicates from my iPhone to my Apple Watch, I can pull up my scannable pass with a few taps to the wrist. I was extremely happy when I figured out I could set this up. It makes every moment in the park I'm NOT riding coasters so much easier. Not to mention one less card to potentially lose.
  16. Remember too, that how it looks on paper during the planning stage is not always how it will look to guests coming in and out of the park, especially those that are here for the first time. There are obviously some inflow/outflow issues that either were not foreseen, or were foreseen but were part of the overall improvement plan. Either way, we know hope that Management is aware of the parking/traffic issues and are working on mitigating them. Remember that its brand new for the season and still an overall work in progress. I definitely think the lot needed the new entry, but also agree that more needs to be done. I also have the confidence that CF will finish making the necessary improvements in time.
  17. What are your thoughts about the current lineup of live entertainment offerings for the current (and past) seasons? What are you looking forward to seeing? What could you do without? What would you like to see more of in the park going forward?
  18. Interesting. Never once at KI have I been refused a reride, on at least one occasion I was actually offered a reride. This was as late as last year, mostly when I was there on a midweek afternoon when park attendance was quite light. So that might've been a factor.
  19. I know it's been mentioned from those that went to opening day that the WWC reservoir has been drained, and there are some survey markers in that area. What they're planning back there remains to be seen. I'll most likely be at the park on Friday, I'm definitely going to try to see all I can.
  20. ^This. I was at Knotts in October and got the chance to experience Iron Reef. It made me realize just how much we need an up-to-date dark ride here. Boo Blasters makes me grin, its quaint.. maybe I'm just being nostalgic. But now, most would agree that BB needs to be put out to pasture.
