  1. Has anyone figured out anything about the clearing back by The Beast? And if it has gotten any larger? Haven't been to the park in a few weeks. Also I see Zephyr is going under refurbishment. Kind of strange it's happening mid season... Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  2. We can rule out a Dinn/Summers woodie. Sadly, as I am one of the few Dinn/Summers fans out there. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone else wonder if this area will be for the queue, and have it cross over the train tracks? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  4. Some pictures I got from the train just now. It was a little hard to see in the Instagram picture, but those boards have "HOLE" spray painted on them. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  5. Bear puns galore. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  6. Stuck on the train with that spieler everyone was complaining about...this is a painful experience. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  7. Whoops, didn't realize someone just posted this!! Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  8. You okay there, Existential? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  9. A thing I've always loved about KI's coasters vs CP is the ones at CP are almost always designed to just be record breakers. Tallest, fastest, etc..and I've felt with a lot of their rides the focus has been more on breaking records rather than ride experience. Take for example Maverick, it obviously wasn't designed to break a ton of records, yet it's one of the best in the park. Our coasters often break some record but that doesn't seem to often be the main focus, and the terrain really gives us some unique rides. When DB was built it wasn't meant to be the tallest or fastest hyper, just the one with the most air. And that really made it unique. Banshee, longest invert. And it has probably the most unique layout of any B&M invert. I like our unique coasters and I hope this one is no exception. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  10. My biggest problem with riding WWC is having to wear shoes. I have severe eczema on my feet and when my shoes get wet I start itching like crazy. Kinda prohibits me from riding. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  11. I once saw someone point to Diamondback and ask the person next to them, "is that the wood one?" The GP isn't going to care what happens to it as long as the ride experience is improved. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  12. Far more people like Blue Streak than Mean Streak. Sure Blue Streak isn't what it used to be, but it's still a fantastic woodie Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  13. From a concrete standpoint...yes they're similar (like in size) It's what's attached to the concrete that will tell. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  14. Does the rust give it more airtime?Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  15. Apparently there is a bunch of steel in that area behind WWC where there is a large clearing. (when you're heading back to the train station past the turntable) Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  16. I'm already excited for night rides on this thing. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  17. Maybe they'll be like Disney and make it 199' 6" Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  18. An axe is half wood half steel..could that be something? (Hint at a woodie with a steel structure) Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  19. I saw a stuffed bear sitting on one of The Beast's footings a few weeks ago. There's a lot of small, strange things you see around the park. It's hard to tell if they're clues or just random. What I'd like to know is why there was a spaghetti spoon on top of DB's maintenance shed a few weeks ago amongst all the wristbands and game cards. It was there one day and gone the next. But really nothing up there gets removed often. And who would take that on the ride with them, and furthermore, how could you? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  20. It was sarcasm, because he said /every/ B&M other than those 3 is "ehhh" when there's no way he has ridden /every/ B&M. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  21. So you've ridden every B&M? Man, i'm impressed. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  22. Accidents don't seem to matter to Intamin based on their track record i'm sure there has been an "acceptable" number of incidents Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  23. The only company now that would probably do anything that insane would be Gravity Group. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  24. I always wonder what SOB would have been like if it had been built by someone other then RCCA, such as CCI, used a steel structure that wouldn't collapse and had actually been completely finished... Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  25. The current tallest I can think of is Goliath at 164ft so it would be relatively close in height to SOB. Fastest is supposed to be Lightning Rod at 73, so a little bit slower then SOB. And of course the longest is already at KI, in The Beast. So I doubt it will break any records, which is fine as records don't necessarily make a ride good, just more marketable. Colossos at Heide Park in Germany is the tallest woodie at 197'Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
