  1. We have to keep in mind...The Racer doesn't stand in the way of a massive waterpark expansion either. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  2. I see our good friend had some nice comments!! Apologies for the language. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  3. Since we don't have 2? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  4. Hey someone mentioned the name Tornado earlier!!!!Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  5. Kind of funny, on The Beast's second lift hill if you look over to the right, there's a blue teddy bear sitting on one of the footings. From the way it is sitting, someone placed it there. It couldn't have been dropped. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  6. But we already have The Beastie!! Oh wait...Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  7. That is why I said most of them. Because MOST of them are extremely short. Even Lightning Rod blows through 3800' of track in less than one minute. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  8. See The Voyage vs Lighting Rod Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  9. RMC makes some great coasters, but their biggest weakness is the fact that most of them are over in like 30 seconds (like pretty much everything Alan Schilke has designed.) They are short but sweet, but just TOO short. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  10. That's always my first stop at Kennywood. The only fries I'll pay $8 for without hesitation. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  11. Well he seems to know Potato Works has good fries since he goes there. He's right about that. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  12. 1. Thunderbird is at Holiday World 2. I agree that CCI made better coasters than GCI (in my opinion, because they are just relentless) but CCI is defunct. 3. Golden Ticket Awards mean nothing. For reference, look at their #1 steel coaster for 13 of the past 15 years. There's only 2 Golden Ticket Awards I agree with. Holiday World as the cleanest park, and Dollywood as the friendliest. 13. Trolls. Lots of them. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  14. People talking about Tornado has me thinking about that gem of a coaster down in Ross... Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  15. *cough* Cornball Express. I wouldn't mind a compact woodie at all if it had airtime like that thing. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  16. Ironic that every GCI that has been notorious for being rough had long used PTCs.....Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  17. I haven't read a lot on it, but what I've read has been good. However with the reprofiling, it is likely the laterals won't be as strong. No one does laterals quite like CCI did. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  18. We have to think...what type of attractions would the park tease a year in advance? There's really only one I can think of. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  19. If it goes down close to the reservoir, I think a fountain element like Manta and Mako have could be pretty cool Pic from wiki, unsure of the photographer. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  20. Hey... Michigan's Adventure got something INCREDIBLE for their 40th anniversary this year..a petting zoo!!! Probably the first non pre-owned attraction they've gotten since CF took over...Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  21. Have they really? Interesting... And I had never realized this until Terp informed me a while ago. I had always heard the park mention 14 coasters and had never heard it referred to as one...Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  22. I don't think a spinning coaster would be the best fit for KI due to the capacity. I mean we do have a few low capacity coasters, but they were all installed pre-Cedar Fair and the lines on all of them get absolutely ridiculous..this is partly why they're so fond of B&M. It's not impossible that they would get one, I just don't think it's likely because of the capacity. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  23. This is the best post in this whole thread. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  24. For me, it isn't the roughest, it's the most uncomfortable due to the headbanging. I was never unfortunate enough to ride FOF with the OTSRs but I have a feeling that would have been the worst for me... Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  25. For me, the problem isn't that the tracking is too rough, it's those darn transitions. Whether in 5-1 or 7-1, even leaning in the turns to reduce the pain, it's just too much for my neck. But I realize there are still a lot of people who love it. The late 80s/early 90s Arrow loopers were just brutal. The first drop is great in 7-1, but 5-1 is what I ride for comfort.
