  1. Why would anyone be a part of a deciding thread, then get upset when that is accomplished? Doesnt make sense to me.
  2. Pull off the side of the road where one would park to take photos with a regular camera. Take off from the road, therefore you would either be on a county road, or state road (not real familiar with the area) if I were, I would take a drive up there and fly my drone. I live on the west side, and have no idea where CSF even is. Well other than the obvious, in Clermont County.
  3. Just out of curiosity, does anyone have a drone to get aerial photos of track at CSF? If you take off from public land, you can get good pics without stepping foot on private property.
  4. The park wants the plans to be found, I can remember during MT decoding one of the hints by the park was something to do with what was being built could be found by those who knew where to look. It was shortly after that someone went to the city building and got the plans.
  5. Here is a thought. Imagine standing on the top of your 100' lift hill, and you fall off! Are they going to say you fell from a 100' structure, then fell into a 100' ravine? No. They would say you fell 200'. So you could in fact say your lift hill above is 200'.
  6. Not sure why so many are being so negative, and and there has been zero construction yet.
  7. What information is in all that text on the right side of the layout? Anyone have a clear image of that?
  8. I think someone needs to make a stop at the city building, and ask for all plans filed by KI. Will tell us if there are any new blueprints regarding the coaster, and the building next to Racer.
  9. I think that clearing looks much larger from that aerial photo, than it does from the Eiffel Tower!
  10. I don't see this as being for the coaster because according to the plans there are 3x4 footers for the storage with some down the center, and 2x4 footers for the transfer track, in the pictures there are somewhere around 5x5 x's around the perimeter, with nothing down the middle. Not to mention, anything for the footers will most likely be dug down, then poured, these look like they are being poured directly at ground level.
  11. Doesnt make sense to lay gravel, then dig through it for footers.
  12. I believe they specified for project x, I could be wrong. If they did not specify then this has to be for the coaster because even building replacement maintenance building would require permits to be filed.
  13. It has to be related to the coaster construction in some form or fashion, there should be plans for whatever this is filed with the city. Maybe the next person to stop there should ask for all plans filed by KI recently.
  14. I have been thinking, if the leaked layout is real, that would mean the blueprint for the footings would be complete as well. Why would they only file a partial blueprint? They sure wouldn't do it to keep the couple of hundred KIC members from finding them...
  15. I think it is still way too early to think this is all the clearing. They may have had to get this much done for the new service roads, utility work, etc. I am sure there will be more work done.
  16. I really dont expect there to be any additional clearing!
  17. By my calculations distance from "L2" to "L16D" is 452'+/- the problem is not knowing how far back from "L16D" the drop starts. I see 310-330' foot drop with no issue!
  18. I believe that is the center line!
  19. I pointed this out earlier today, which is probably 20 pages ago, lol. In my head i see the face that the backbone is bolting to set to 50 degrees, and assuming the base plate on the backbone is welded on square, when it is bolted to the face it would be perpendicular, therefore set to 50 degrees. Does anyone have any documentation that says the lift hill angle is always referenced off the angle opposite where the backbone bolts up?
  20. The biggest thing i am having an issue with, is if that layout is real, that means the plans for the footings for the rest of the coaster are complete and would likely be filed already. I remember that the MT layout had the ride broke into "areas of work" but they were clearly defined on the layout. If this was the case for this coaster, why would the "areas of work" not be marked on the layout. Something just doesn't feel right about this.
  21. And why some of the stuff is in color?
  22. Sure, i would like to see it.
  23. Very rough measurements got me to about 4700'
