I thought that KI Soak City was lacking up until this year with the new complex. I'm hoping CP gets the water park expansion this year. And NEW STUFF, NOT USED FROM WWK! CP doesn't do recyclables.

If this is the theme, then it would probably work better with a terracoaster instead of a giga. Still hoping for giga though.

Why is it so ridiculous that pieces for maybe a KI coaster are being made now? There are lots of pieces to be made for a giga.

Cedar Point is the park that is desperate for a good woodie. Kings Island needs a giga!

This would be very cool if it does end up maneuvering through the trees and such. I'm still on Team Giga.

^^ I mean, we are enthusiasts. And all we did was notice a teaser placed on a fence, and saw some markers behind that fence. It's just 2 and 2.

Sorry to double post, but that trail looks like it could be used for a new midway possibly. Maybe like a Frontier Trail type midway like at CP, or a Rivertown Trail.

There are indeed lots of markers at CP. All over Mean Streak as well as a few other places. There are also two large plots of land opened up, one for (assuming) a future Soak City expansion, and one from Shawn's beloved Shoot the Rapids being torn out.

Or the "troll" was actually a time traveler warning us about the future!

I think taking the colors of a souvenir cup as a tease is a little extreme.

I'm betting on a B&M. I couldn't see Intimin coming back to Cedar Fair for a looong time. Now that I actually started getting used to names a little... Ah! I got like 15 different answers on who the Terp is! Which one is the right answer? I'll just go ahead and say that the Terp is a mystical man who knows all.

I'm sorry if this sounds bad, but who is Terp? (Remember, I'm a new member. I'm not completely up to date with this stuff.) Based on what I read though, is he kinda like the Lemon Chill Guy from Pointbuzz?

Ferrari World over in Europe is opening all kinds of things, and a 360 foot coaster is one of those things. I'm not sure if it's actually a long lasting coaster or if it's just a LTHB.

Was anyone expecting a big announcement this weekend? It's not even close to announcement time. I wouldn't expect any announcement to be made until August. But, there will definetly be teasers out there.

Hello! First time poster here, but I've been following this thread for a little while now (and I must say it's very confusing). My home park is up in Sandusky at the Point, but I go to Kings Island at least once a year. Just to voice my personal opinion (which is the same as many others on here), the "falling trees" sign means nothing more than the park saying that they're clearing the area, I believe. I don't think it has anything to do with the theme of the ride. And I do believe that a giga is coming to Kings Island next year. It's very early in the year still, so they still have plenty of time to clear land and build it. And just something that made me laugh, I've never heard of Maverick being called the "Cowboy Coaster''! We have never referred to it over on Pointbuzz (Cedar Point's forum site).
