That it is. I was completely fine with the strawless ICEE, but what was irritating was trying to find where to redeem for coffee (yes, they actually hade it) because it was so cold in the morning. I asked the park on X but received radio silence, which was nice of the KI Team to not let consumers know information on where to redeem items that have been bought

ICEE was fairly straight forward for me, aside from the straw lol.

Not food related, but we ran into the same issue with the single use Fast Lane with our Prestige Pass.  There was ZERO communication from the park to passholders, or even the VIP Lounge workers.  We were all scanning at the lounge Friday and were being told to go to Guest Services to get our single use Fast Lane.  A simple, "Now all you have to do is scan your pass at the ride to redeem!!" would have been more than sufficient from the park.  But, I guess the PR team was too busy taking selfies.

My wife and I have decided that this season will be our make or break season as far as if we renew for 2025.  We have been passholders since 2016.  Things are not off to a good start.

But, to get back to food, the park better step up their supply of ICEE, or Guest Services is going to be very busy this season.

Read the article about it on Kings Island web site.   It goes by how many visits you go in May and those perks will be available June 1st.

Gotcha.  I knew I wouldn’t have any available, I was thinking it would show in the app what could be earned.

Hmm, did you not watch the 1-minute video snippet @BoddaH1994  linked in his post above yours that he posted 4 hours before your post :P  Or are you simply summarizing his 1 minute analysis on the PR situation in this video for those that don't want to watch a 1 minute clip LOL (actually it was a 1-minute, 22 second clip that points out what you posted in a funny way)...

And for those thinking that @BoddaH1994 was simply relinking the KI Team video, think again and watch this clip LOL.

I was reiterating that the park has been pretty silent, and then after Ryan and Don discussed this on the episode, not much later the park comes out with this video.

I honestly think it’s a good thing. I don’t think they are needed. Been going 20 years and how many times do I need ambassador? 0, never knew they existed. Thus imo don’t need them to function.

The Park Ambassadors are one of those things you never know you need until you do.  Many people, including my family, have benefitted from their kindness.  Please don't discount the many guests and associates whose days have been made better by the Park Ambassadors.

  5. If true, this is absolutely disgusting.  We had one ambassador take care of us when one of our boys got a really bad nosebleed after riding The Beast a couple of years ago.  He stayed with us in the restroom, made sure we were taken care of, and then even gave us a free front of the line pass for our family after all was okay.  These are the types of interactions that guests remember.  If the ambassadors are truly gone, a piece of what makes Kings Island special, at least for my family, is now gone.  A very sad day.

Dollywood has often been know to extend hours "day of" based on attendance. KI needs to be able to respond more quickly. I get closing early, but last Friday December 8 (with almost 2 hr waits for train) should've definitely been oushed to a 11 pm close. Im a little confused why this week of daily ops (with mostly decent looking weather) isn't set for 4pm opens and 11 close at least Friday and Saturday for the last 2 nights before Christmas.

What time did you do the train with a 2 hour wait?  We were there that night as well.  Watched the parade in Coney by the arcade then went to the train.  Waited 10 minutes.

With that said, I am not disagreeing with you at all.  I totally would love to see extended ours, particularly with the nicer weather we have been having this year.
