  1. From comments made by Bob Chapek during yesterday's earnings call and an interview with CNBC, masks will most likely be dropping at Walt Disney World at some point this summer. Looks good for our July 17 trip to WDW!! https://wdwnt.com/2021/05/ceo-bob-chapek-confirms-walt-disney-world-mask-policy-will-change-this-summer/ Edit: Universal Orlando dropping outdoor masks starting tomorrow, 5/15! https://wdwnt.com/2021/05/breaking-universal-orlando-resort-no-longer-requiring-guests-to-wear-masks-outdoors-starting-tomorrow/
  2. Same here! High school math teacher. We have been in person all year, masks only in the hallways, not in the classroom. Hope you enjoy your visits to the park!!!
  3. One of the photos your are probably referring to was mine. I didn't post it as a social distancing observation. I posted it to discuss the 2021 season, as in the ride was officially running and we were in line. Now, it seems from your posts that you are not comfortable going to Kings Island at this point. Guess what? That is totally fine. No one is forcing anyone to go. Was the social distancing as good as it should have been? No. Did I feel uncomfortable at any point during the day? No. Here's why. I've gotten vaccinated. (I AM NOT STARTING A VACCINATION DEBATE. SIMPLY STATING A FACT). I did this to get back to normal. Saturday was one of the most "back to normal" experiences that I have had in the past year. Bottom line, if you feel comfortable in maskless crowds, enjoy the park. If not, then either wear a mask or don't go. As for me, I plan to enjoy the heck out of KI this summer.
  4. They were a much better benefit when the preview night was restricted to renewing passholders. I believe they started opening it up to anyone who buys one, even day of, around the time MT opened.
  5. I noticed this as well. I have no problem with season Fast Lane being used today. I was disappointed that they sold daily FL for passholder preview. But, after 2020, can’t really blame them for making some extra cash today.
  6. Just rode The Racer. Wow!!! So much better. It’s like we got a new ride after all this year
  7. Just waited full queue on MT. 90 minutes.
  8. Parking opened about 1010. You could scan into the park and line up for rides. But rides didn’t run until 11.
  9. That would be my guess. This morning we got in line at 1030. They started the ride at 1055. Took us 40 minutes from that point to get through the back switchbacks to the ride.
  10. And guess what’s still closed....
  11. Orion is full queue and lined back to the guess your weight game.
  12. And we are underway!!! Currently in line for Orion.
  13. Agreed. I was simply stating that I'm happy to be able to "walk around" KI mask free.
  14. So happy to be able to walk around outside at KI mask free!!! Steps in the right direction!!!!
  15. 28 days until preview weekend begins!!!!
  16. Disney World is allowing outdoor maskless photos beginning tomorrow (actually have started today). https://wdwnt.com/2021/04/update-photopass-photographers-allowing-guests-to-remove-masks-for-photos-today/
  17. I've been hoping we are getting all 3 DB and MT trains, as well as full loads. Will definitely help cut down wait times!!!! (and by full loads I simply mean loading every row/seat, not pairing different parties together)
  18. I have heard no reports of pairing single riders. If you are a single rider, you will still have a row to your self. But you would have another party in the row behind you and in front of you.
  19. Fingers crossed we will see full trains at KI this year!! I absolutely cannot wait to experience Orion with a full train!!!
  20. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Now Loading Every Row at Magic Kingdom
  21. Okay, one more. Same kiddo, getting ready for what would end up being the final ERT midnight close for the June round with Diamondback... The Dude abides...
