that's great to hear - my own kids get annoyed with my "on the path, please"  to them all the time. It's really a parent issue at this point - kids will be kids. It's OUR JOB as parents and supervisors to teach them to respect the investments that the park makes. Sadly most adults with kids either just don't care, or worse, actively encourage it to get the 'great picture'. HINT - Timmy isn't THAT cute, and he really isn't cute "drankin' out of that giant beer mug in that ther planter" so get you darn kid out of the plants! LOL

Agreed.  The worst offenders are typically the encouraging parents.  The worst example I can think of is the giant troll at Haunt/Winterfest.  Every time I walk by there are parents having their kids climb over the fence to stand by the troll and have pictures taken.

  2. So we have had the crates and barrels out for what, a few days.  Witnessed multiple guests today using them as their personal seats and rest zones.  I’m not talking about the ones right by the walkway.  The ones up in some mulch under some trees.  #peoplesuck

I’m still on the fence. Honestly the preferred parking alone may be worth it. We’ll see how I feel on august when they want more of my money. :D

Same feeling.  I didn't think the preferred parking would be a huge deal for us, but man, when I need to run back out to the car, it is so nice.  The 1 ride fastlane is also a nice perk, especially for The Beast on Haunt nights.

As far as next season, I'm holding my decision until August when we see how the experience is over the next 3 months.

Is it true the 275ft platform on the Eiffel Tower is open again? Last year it was barely open from what I was told was mechanical issue with that elevator. If its now open, that's great!

Yep!  We were up there on Sunday :)

Wherever there's something sweet to be had the bees are on it lol

100%.  Last year I grabbed a Cherry Coke from Tower Drinks.  Took a drink and got a piece of ice in my mouth.   Went to crunch it, and, yeah…it wasn’t ice.  At least it didn’t sting my mouth.

What I'd to to teach them a lesson, come with them to the gate, then as they try to get in with you just say "I'm not with them". Very dirty but it would be quite embarrassing for them.

As a high school teacher who is terribly ready for the end of the school year, I may just try this.

  7. For any PP members that were there Saturday and/or Sunday before park opening, did they pull the PP line up to the front to be the first to scan in like they did Friday?  Just curious if that was a Preview Day thing or everyday.  Have to admit, that was kind of nice :)

At least the water is presented well and not some generic orange cooler like you see in the ride stations lol

Shhhh, don’t give them any ideas.

But seriously, I like the way they did the snacks.  If they would have done that from the beginning, we might still have bottled drinks.  Would have been a lot less likely if someone had to say, “Excuse me, could you load my bag  with 12 bottles of Coke?”
