  1. The park is called Six Flags St. Louis not Six Flags East St. Louis.
  2. I remember when the “fingerprint” was introduced at SFSTL the park literature insisted it was not capturing a “fingerprint” but used some other method but I never really understood how the technology worked and wasn’t that interested in learning about it at the time. It was kind of a PIA as it didn’t work all that well especially with my kids and their grubby little fingers.
  3. Maybe all US parks, but shouldn't be a problem at Canada's Wonderland.
  4. Wise and intelligent Dad you have there, I would keep him. There is no need for a locker just for keys. Have pockets? All you need is a $0.02 safety pin and you are not going to loose your keys on a ride. Have an issue with nice roomy cargo shorts? Well then, I have the product for you.
  5. Those are fighting words @FUN&ONLY!
  6. I hope to make it there this week so 2 things are almost certain. Don't get used to it. RFS will close down at least the day I am there. WindSeeker will have intermittent down time as whenever I get within 100 yards of CM it shuts down.
  7. They knew I went to CP yesterday so it was safe to open it up!
  8. I don’t think this kind of stuff can really be put on the park, as I said tons of people hanging out in the parking lot is completely normal and even if dozens of security guards were patrolling the lot it would be really hard to spot nefarious activity. A robust CCTV system would be nice but likely only useful for evidence after the fact.
  9. Think leaving my fob on my driver’s side front tire is still safe?
  10. The thing is people loitering around in an amusement park lot is not and has never been an uncommon sight. Checking Amazon reviews on The Club and other anti-theft devices right now. The whole catalytic converter thing is getting out of hand as well and not so easy to prevent.
  11. Think Guest Services will refund them the $10 Preferred Parking upcharge?
  12. @BeeastFarmer You trying to bankrupt CF or just want to clear out those areas so the lines are shorter?
  13. The barcode should suffice as long as you have the right one. Is it shown within the Kings Island App? Regardless, when I go to a park I with my family I have absolutely no intention of talking to the moose out front so if there is something for me to print, I print it as a backup. Prior to leaving I also check online to make sure I know current hours, though exactly where to check has been a bit unclear lately.
  14. You might be right there. Lol. The corollary being no matter what satire I post, you will be offended by it.
  15. Any else find it kind of odd that Chef Major looks really proud and happy that the Chef’s Plate has been canceled? I understand it is a stock photo being used but seems to me like an weird choice in this circumstance.
  16. I joked about it on the other thread but it does take time to onboard and train associates and the success of KI’s efforts were not mentioned.
  17. What a difference $2 makes… SANDUSKY, Ohio – Cedar Point’s seasonal labor problems should be resolved this month, with hours and daily operations likely restored by late June, according to Cedar Fair CEO Richard Zimmerman. Cedar Point’s new $20-per-hour wage is doing the trick, attracting new and high-quality job applicants, said Zimmerman, speaking Tuesday at the 2021 Goldman Sachs Travel & Leisure Conference. “We’ve seen great response over the last few weeks as we raised our wages,” he said. “We’ll continue to add back hours and add back days as we get deeper into June.” Source
  18. The Interwebs are full of cicada recipes. Maybe Chef Major could come up with something special for a Chef’s Plate, maybe with a side of Fred Grubs. But only if it’s on the meal plan.
  19. That doesn’t really make for a great evac story to tell for years to come does it? None the less and evac is an evac.
  20. The park could facilitate the sending of video clips of transgressions to security. As @Rallyomalley pointed out, identifying the perps in person to security is potentially dangerous and something most would avoid.
  21. Haha, they can’t start a charcoal fire in the rain. Clearly someone was never a Scout.
  22. Have you checked the Irish betting sites? How would a guest know this other than checking the with the beagle out front? Nothing on the home page or Twitter about it.
