(Including my own) On top of that if you really have a serious issue with their food, they will allow you to bring your own and store it at first aid I believe.

I don't know what that goo is they claim is guacamole but it filled my belly. Up at CP the polish dog without a bun at Pinks worked, it was big. On a hot day the meal plan uncharge of $8 for Market Cafe was a nice break from the heat for the family. My oldest doesn't eat much but they had some ham that he just loved and devoured. It wasn't really ham but some other cut of pork like a loin and probably cured or brined like a ham.

Vortex can be headbanging rough for *some* people so I would stay away from that one until you are more comfortable. What is it about them that you fear? If it is the shaking, maybe stick will the newer steel coasters for now. Heights? Stay away from Diamond Back. Fear falling out? Ones with over the head restraints help you feel more secure. In that case maybe Banshee would be a good choice, but it is big. Take some Advil with you or get some from first aid if you need it. I call it Vitamin-I. Also stay hydrated. Resist peer pressure and sit out a ride if you are not ready. Better to do one or two this trip and more later.

SFSTL still has Highland Fling. I loved that thing as a kid. I was on it a couple of years ago and it was like the Wraith sucking years off my life.

MS is on the other side of the parking lot so to keep SC contiguous that would involve some major reconfiguration including the road. Unless it was huge water coaster with the lift hill staring in Challenge Park. I do agree SC is in desperate need of at least two more towers. 1/2 hour wait for a coaster is one thing, it's just torture waiting that long for a tube slide. I thought the 1% enthusiasts didn't matter? Still skeptical of CF working with RMC but that would be awesome.

The plan last Wednesday was to make it the last ride of the night but I got twisted around and we ended up getting the last train on Magnum instead. Still recovering from that trip hopefully healed by next week. Finally went to Urgent Care yesterday and am on a anti-biotic and anti-fungal. Not CP's fault but man that place can be rough, My tracker says I walked over 10 miles that day. This board will explode if they get anything RMC, but I really doubt that. When was the last time they added a coaster that wasn't a record breaker?

1. It's the flagship, of course they will. I expect Carrowinds will get a lot of love as well as it has growth potential. MT may not be some shock and awe coaster but should be fun, and I could care less what is in the shed really, that's just fluff. Do you think a company like SIX would do better with the park? Go ask the enthusiasts in St. Louis how they feel. 2. We were at the dry park from 4-11 Wednesday and the boys got in 13 coasters, only bug problem was front row on MF. Must have just been a good night. We left at 7:45 AM and got home at 2:15 AM. No problem, I can handle it. 3. Nope it won't and thank God! As a family we have never been to ANY Disney park and unless we score free tickets probably won't. Not everyone likes dark rides and dancing with a mouse. They could care less for flats as well, the ONLY one they showed interest in this year was MaxAir. I honestly believe my boys will have 10x more fun going to CP/KI once a week than Disney for 5 days a year. 4. Can't argue with that but I don't go there for fine cuisine. All the kids are interested in is chicken strips anyway and they are no worse than any fast food and they raved about the ones from Potato Works. Throw in a pretzel and some ice cream and they are happy. That's just my take on the situation.

I added a paragraph above. The log flume should be ok, but White Water Canyon (big raft ride) could present problems. I have to straddle two seats and still struggle to get the seat belt on. It's not comfortable. I hate to agree with Beast Gal (/jk) but she is right. I am all gut, or so I thought until I couldn't even slide my fat ass all the way back into test seat on Gatekeeper. I measured my self and I have much larger hips than my wife, I was shocked.

I actually just read your posts over on point buzz. Sorry about your friend's attitude and a probable bad day tommorow. The only one I suspect she won't have a problem on is The Bat. There are a few I have not tried like Adventure Express but DBack, Banshee, Beast are a no go for me. I go for my kids and it is great motivation to stick to the diet plan. I flip over on the tube slides about 40% of the time but just flip on your back and ride it out as a body slide. Staying on your stomach is painful on the knees. Skip the mat slide, to much air time, the landing is brutal. The cool thing about slides is the heavier you are the faster you go. One other thing, the rides are not small, some of us are just ridiculously large. I am 5'10" and 310lbs (down 20), if I keep it up I probably won't get to see my grandkids. Look on the bright side, maybe some good will eventually come from this experience. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Probably just enough in case of fire, I read somewhere that water towers are for keeping pressure? This type of tower is for pressure and storage. Note you do not see them in urban areas becuase it would require to many of them so pumps and reservoirs are used. (I took my Cub Scout Den on a water treatment plant tour a few years ago)
