Unless they tie Firehawk to the new coaster and also use the old track and train for the theme then it would make some sense... I’d also like to see the Amphitheater brought back to its glory and used more than 2-3 times a year.... I was fortunate enough to see some Big name acts at the venue. Ok so I got to Kings Island last weekend to get my rides with Firehawk before it’s demise. Man what a great coaster... especially when you just let your body go limp and float through the whole thing. Was definitely in my top 5 at the park so I really hope they do something great with the land. It saddened me to see they didn’t get the On Ride photo set up for its last runs in the park though.... would have been nice to had one last one(not to mention a good profit for them) Anyway i was glad to get in quite a few day and night rides in before it was gone. Ok so we hit up the haunt last weekend...... Im not sure if we just hit a bum weekend but i was sooooo disappointed. The Scare Zones barely had any scare actors, the couple times i seen more than one scare actor they were huddled together just talking. The removal of the skeleton key was also upsetting. Not only for the extras that came with it but even more so because i loved having the keepsake with the year and everything on it. Even the fright lane pass was done cheap.... no lamination or anything. I also noticed that the haunted houses/mazes lack scare actors pretty bad. With that being said I did enjoy the new Chaos house it was a fun edition.. and the Pumpkin eater scare zone, while lacking scare actors, was a great place.to walk through due to decorations. I really didnt know what to think about all of it. Im hoping that the reason there was such a lack of scare actors and cutbacks (skeleton key and such) is because.Kings Island is saving every penny it can for something BIG. Has the haunt been this disappointing all year?

I really enjoy everything at the park so if I was to nitpick mine would be that they make you get off a train and go all the way around even if there isn’t someone waiting to ride next. Ok I found the interview I was thinking of and it was one of KICentral’s own interviews!!! I had seen some other things like the tweet posted above. Skip to 4 minutes in. Mr. Helbig is good at saying a lot and nothing at the same time [emoji6]. After rewatching it does seem pretty vague. However he does mention that right now with everything going on it’s not the right time which would make it seem as though there is an announcement coming whether big or small. Ok so we have always went to Kings Islands opening day but have never went to Cedar Points and would really like to hit it this year.... just curious as to what the crowd is like at CP’s opening day.
