1. Some rides could used moved out of the park. Ive never seen an actual line for the carousal and the Scrambler and Monster are carnival knock offs.

Carnival knock offs? You do realize there’s plenty of kids that come to the park and like those rides. Kings Island isn’t just about high thrill rides like coasters.

Ok I can dig it. What monetary value would you place on said front of the line tickets? I used to hit up the prize wheel for $5 all the time when the odds were much better.

I think $50 for 10 passes is a fair deal. Same price as the wheel, but since you pay for 10 up front, you get choice of ride. If you buy FL for a day, you can probably get in 25-30 rides or more. So at $5 a ride vs $2-3 if you get your money’s worth out of a whole day pass seems good.

  3. harveyhaddixfan I really like the thought of the first fast pass for the season being heavily discounted. I don't know how I feel about season long/bulk Fast Pass. Worried it could become overused causing congested lines while simultaneously dampering the experience of the kids with less fortunate parents.

I’m not talking a pass for a whole day, I mean a 1 time use. Kind of like what they hand out at the wheel for a $5 spin, only this would be good for 1 ride on any ride. This would be for those that don’t/won’t/can’t spend money on a FL pass for a day. Would be an up front purchase that could be used a few at a time throughout the year.

  4. I put this out a while ago as a concept for a Skyride

It’s a cool idea to have this ride again, but ONLY if it covers a large amount of land. I see no point in only going from one end of Coney Mall to the other. I like this idea of going from the front of the park to the back.

  5. Nice to see some ride ops loosen up and have fun (not skipping safety) this weekend.

    Beast Crew:
You can sit anywhere but row 19!
Coming into the station, the one and only red train!
Enjoy your ride on Diamondback where you’ll go up 230 feet...

    Racer:
You’re up and outta here on Firehawk!

I’m honestly surprised nobody Friday said thanks for visiting Soak City.

  6. I think this is actually a great solution. At many locations, especially those with a limited menu and no customization (la Rosa is a great example) the bottle neck is the payment... Especially guests who don't have plans who need change. I've often said that a pass only check out line... Or even a no cash line... Would greatly improve the speed of service for everyone.
In some cases, if designed correctly, they could do this via a kiosk and thus dedicate the staffed cashier to the non meal plan customers.

Yes! The hold up is ALWAYS someone trying to pay. Roll out more self service kiosks for food plans and credit card customers. But they also have to figure out how to get the drink plan to work on them.

  7. So basically you can’t get the sweetfire with kung pao. But why force people to take rice and noodles instead of one or the other? That’s just plain dumb. Would be like forcing you to take greens with Mac and cheese or fries with baked beans and not having a choice.

  8. Side complaint, more places need tea. Outside freestyle which is almost always limited to one location, there literally isn't a single diet not caffeinated drink in the park (except water).

This is my biggest gripe. Was there last night and the freestyle machines at the train station were closed. Only other place is on the other side of the park. I go for the Minute Maid light drinks. And they’re almost always out. I end up with flavored Dasani.

  9. You can. They charge you the difference between whatever you paid and the current price. So if you renewed early for $99, you’re going to pay $139 more I believe. I did the same thing last year since I was going to CP, KD and Knott’s.
