About Me

My job duties have been variable over the last ten years. I'm currently a wearer of three hats at the United States Fish and Wildlife Service National Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV, as an Audiovisual Customer Service Representative, IT Support, and Photo/Graphics Specialist. I've worked on a few movies-- Inhumanwich!, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!The Expendables 3Legend of HerculesFrank vs God, King's Gambit, and 40 Days and Nights; I've done work pitching visual effects work for Disney Shanghai. I also worked at a national audiovisual production and staging company, in Cincinnati and Cleveland, OH, then Naples, FL. In college, I worked on several television programs or projects in several positions, including audio, camera, and on screen graphics, and can use linear and non-linear video editors (Final Cut Pro, AVID, Premiere Pro) and/or audio editors (Audacity and Soundtrack Pro). I've also worked as a television master control operator at WSIU/WUSI, a PBS station in Carbondale, IL, and was on the TV crew for various live TV shows on WKRP Cincinnati/WOTH.

I am a graduate of two schools, The Digital Animation and Visual Effects School in Orlando, FL, attending from June 2012-June 2013 with a degree in visual effects, and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, attending from August 2002-December 2006 with a bachelor of arts in video production, minor in information technology.

I like playing video games, and I have an XBox One, XBox 360, PS2, Wii, and an NES. My favorite games are the Halo series, Need For Speed series, and the Burnout series, but open to many others. My XBox Live account is leknifrag1983.

Music runs my life, I do listen to almost everything, some more than others. Alternative and rock music are my favorites, classic rock would have to be my second favorite. I'm not a huge fan of KISS radio stations, due to the huge amount of repetition in their music playlist from hour to hour, but the alternative and rock music that occasionally crosses over into there, I like.

I was a long time visitor of Kings Island (+/- Paramount, +/- Cedar Fair), almost religiously from 1992-2007, which a few visits throughout the years until the end of 2009, visiting once a year for the last 8 years.
