  1. So I’ve been thinking a lot lately and I think I might have the pieces of the puzzle put together. Is it possible that Kings Island is bringing back backwards Racer to compensate for Vortex leaving? Just like they did for all the troubles of the original Bat in 1982. 2. I’ve stayed at the Magnuson Hotel near the intersection of Route 250 and 2 a few times. It’s nothing fancy but the rooms are cheap, clean and the beds are comfortable. And the water pressure for taking showers is amazing lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve noticed that also about the fountains being off on KMAA. I guess there wont be any fountain ERT there today[emoji3525]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Waterspouts form over large bodies of water, not at water parks lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Cedar Point is usually very busy pretty much every day from July 4th through the second week in August. After that, attendance drops off significantly since kids start going back to school. So if you really want lighter crowds, I’d recommend waiting until the 3rd full week of August. Only downfall to that is the park starts 8pm closes during the week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Haha maybe I should consider this as a possible career. Maybe someday I could be designing these things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. KI doesn’t need the Pre K pass IMO. Planet Snoopy is already always busy so it wouldn’t make sense business wise. It would probably be twice as busy as it is now. Yes Cedar Point has pre K pass however whenever I’m there the kiddie areas are almost never busy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Last year during Winterfest, the 2 pedestals closest to the bandstand were removed. The other 4 were left in place for the ice rink. I’m kinda curious as to what the park did with them. I’m assuming they just tore them apart and threw them in the trash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have to say that I’m very happy with the new fountain set up. It was definitely in need of an upgrade so I’m glad it was finally done. I am very well aware that they are not complete with the fountain yet and was told that the big fountain shows would debut Memorial Day weekend. So I’m gonna wait until then to decide just how much I like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes panda express is back to 2 entrées. However, I was told that they will not have chow mein this year. So your options for sides are either fried rice or steamed white rice. It also appears that they had some new items on the menu. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Today’s the day we finally get to see International Street in person woohoo! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. This makes me so happy! I remember watching the figurines dance as a kid. Hopefully they will still use the Chicken Dance Song. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they go back to 2 entrees. That didn’t sit well with guests last time they tried it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I’ve never seen beans as an option at the park, just onions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. My thoughts on it are that it’s one heck of a coaster! The hangtime is out of this world and really adds to the experience. This was my first coaster with a jo jo roll out of the station which I thoroughly enjoyed. The barn before the first launch is cool but you have to ride several times to see everything. There’s also a lot of really cool theming in the queue line so make sure you pay attention to it. Honestly this is probably my new favorite coaster at the park. It’s definitely up there with Fury as far as best coasters I’ve been on. As far as night rides go, it’s definitely the best night ride in the park IMO. As far as comparing it to Maverick, yes they are both launch coasters but I’d say Maverick is definitely more intense. The launches on CS are not as intense as Mavericks but it’s still a lot of fun. If you have the chance to go to Carowinds this year, I would highly recommend this ride to anyone who enjoys a good thrill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
