  1. Today’s the day we finally get to see International Street in person woohoo! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. When I was at KD last year I ate at the Mac Bowl (their version of Mac n Cheese bar). Although I didn’t get mac & cheese, I got tater tot’s. It was really good and they had a lot of different toppings to choose from. I’ve also eaten at country kitchen and outer Hanks, both were pretty good. I would say country kitchen is along the lines of KFC with chicken and sides to choose from. Outer Hanks has your typical fish and chips products. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. This makes me so happy! I remember watching the figurines dance as a kid. Hopefully they will still use the Chicken Dance Song. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they go back to 2 entrees. That didn’t sit well with guests last time they tried it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’ve never seen beans as an option at the park, just onions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. My thoughts on it are that it’s one heck of a coaster! The hangtime is out of this world and really adds to the experience. This was my first coaster with a jo jo roll out of the station which I thoroughly enjoyed. The barn before the first launch is cool but you have to ride several times to see everything. There’s also a lot of really cool theming in the queue line so make sure you pay attention to it. Honestly this is probably my new favorite coaster at the park. It’s definitely up there with Fury as far as best coasters I’ve been on. As far as night rides go, it’s definitely the best night ride in the park IMO. As far as comparing it to Maverick, yes they are both launch coasters but I’d say Maverick is definitely more intense. The launches on CS are not as intense as Mavericks but it’s still a lot of fun. If you have the chance to go to Carowinds this year, I would highly recommend this ride to anyone who enjoys a good thrill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I hereby declare you Queen of Kings Island[emoji12]! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. No Kings Dominion and Canada’s Wonderland’s fountain have never had pedestals, just Kings Island’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yes I forgot to mention that! For me it’s hard to believe Diamondback is 10 years old. I remember taking my first ride on it. It was on July 8th, 2009 and I was 12 years old. Boy does time fly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. When I sit down and think about it, there’s a lot of things to celebrate this year at Kings Island. Of course you’ve got the International Street upgrade, Antique Cars and the new Brewery restaurant. But there are several anniversaries at the park this year. Beast is 40 years old, Soak City/Waterworks is 30, Drop Tower and Invertigo are 20, and Diamondback is 10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have to say I’m kind of glad Reds is going out. It’s not that I didn’t like Reds, because their chicken tenders and Saratoga chips basket was really good. I just think there are already a lot of places in the park to get food like chicken tenders and burgers so it will be nice to have more of a variety in food selection. 12. My first visit to Kings Dominion was in July 2017 and Volcano was down, so I was kinda bummed about that. I ended up going back last year for opening weekend and was fortunate to ride it several times. It was probably my favorite coaster at the park and I’m incredibly sad to see it go. Although I do understand why the park chose to close it and I’m sure it was not an easy decision to make. It was SBNO most of last year so it’s not like I’m completely shocked or anything. Hopefully something good will replace it within the next few years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don’t want them to get rid of the pedestals. There’s still plenty of room to skate around them especially now that they took out 2 of them during Winterfest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Oh really? I never remember that. Must have been removed before I started going to the park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I see what you did there with a reference to fountain ERT[emoji12]. Speaking of the fountains, one thing that Kings Island has not gotten that both Kings Dominion and Canada’s Wonderland have gotten is an upgrade to their fountains. Both those parks got a renovation of their fountain which included new LED lighting, plumbing, paint etc. I really hope our fountain gets a renovation within the next few years. It’s definitely due for one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
