  1. I know it’ll never return, but I still miss the I-Street playlist from the Paramount era. Nothing they play now would ever come close to that. I just felt like all those movie themes went very well with the fountains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Awesome! Thanks for the update! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I know a lot of crazy things have happened since this was recorded. But I’m just curious, any updates on when the book might be released? Either way I’m really looking forward to buying a copy[emoji846]! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think he meant to say GOCC which stands for Great Ohio Coaster Club. It’s another coaster club you can join. I used to have a membership, however I never did any of their events. The only reason I had it was to be able to attend Coasterstock and Holiwood Nights. They’ve allowed members of GOCC to attend Coasterstock every year since it started in 2015. 5. I definitely liked having the pedestals better. Still kinda miss the old fountain. Fountain ERT will never be the same for me again[emoji53]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So I’ve been thinking a lot lately and I think I might have the pieces of the puzzle put together. Is it possible that Kings Island is bringing back backwards Racer to compensate for Vortex leaving? Just like they did for all the troubles of the original Bat in 1982. 7. I’ve stayed at the Magnuson Hotel near the intersection of Route 250 and 2 a few times. It’s nothing fancy but the rooms are cheap, clean and the beds are comfortable. And the water pressure for taking showers is amazing lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’ve noticed that also about the fountains being off on KMAA. I guess there wont be any fountain ERT there today[emoji3525]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Waterspouts form over large bodies of water, not at water parks lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Cedar Point is usually very busy pretty much every day from July 4th through the second week in August. After that, attendance drops off significantly since kids start going back to school. So if you really want lighter crowds, I’d recommend waiting until the 3rd full week of August. Only downfall to that is the park starts 8pm closes during the week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Haha maybe I should consider this as a possible career. Maybe someday I could be designing these things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. KI doesn’t need the Pre K pass IMO. Planet Snoopy is already always busy so it wouldn’t make sense business wise. It would probably be twice as busy as it is now. Yes Cedar Point has pre K pass however whenever I’m there the kiddie areas are almost never busy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Last year during Winterfest, the 2 pedestals closest to the bandstand were removed. The other 4 were left in place for the ice rink. I’m kinda curious as to what the park did with them. I’m assuming they just tore them apart and threw them in the trash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have to say that I’m very happy with the new fountain set up. It was definitely in need of an upgrade so I’m glad it was finally done. I am very well aware that they are not complete with the fountain yet and was told that the big fountain shows would debut Memorial Day weekend. So I’m gonna wait until then to decide just how much I like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes panda express is back to 2 entrées. However, I was told that they will not have chow mein this year. So your options for sides are either fried rice or steamed white rice. It also appears that they had some new items on the menu. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Today’s the day we finally get to see International Street in person woohoo! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. This makes me so happy! I remember watching the figurines dance as a kid. Hopefully they will still use the Chicken Dance Song. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they go back to 2 entrees. That didn’t sit well with guests last time they tried it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I’ve never seen beans as an option at the park, just onions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. My thoughts on it are that it’s one heck of a coaster! The hangtime is out of this world and really adds to the experience. This was my first coaster with a jo jo roll out of the station which I thoroughly enjoyed. The barn before the first launch is cool but you have to ride several times to see everything. There’s also a lot of really cool theming in the queue line so make sure you pay attention to it. Honestly this is probably my new favorite coaster at the park. It’s definitely up there with Fury as far as best coasters I’ve been on. As far as night rides go, it’s definitely the best nigh
  21. I hereby declare you Queen of Kings Island[emoji12]! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. No Kings Dominion and Canada’s Wonderland’s fountain have never had pedestals, just Kings Island’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yes I forgot to mention that! For me it’s hard to believe Diamondback is 10 years old. I remember taking my first ride on it. It was on July 8th, 2009 and I was 12 years old. Boy does time fly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. When I sit down and think about it, there’s a lot of things to celebrate this year at Kings Island. Of course you’ve got the International Street upgrade, Antique Cars and the new Brewery restaurant. But there are several anniversaries at the park this year. Beast is 40 years old, Soak City/Waterworks is 30, Drop Tower and Invertigo are 20, and Diamondback is 10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I have to say I’m kind of glad Reds is going out. It’s not that I didn’t like Reds, because their chicken tenders and Saratoga chips basket was really good. I just think there are already a lot of places in the park to get food like chicken tenders and burgers so it will be nice to have more of a variety in food selection.
