  1. I wonder if they saved Firehawk's track for something like this
  2. Why does it matter so much if it breaks the record or is under by 20 feet? That's nothing. 10-40 feet on a 300ft coaster is not going to be noticeable. I do understand the concerns about length but if the coaster is even exactly 300ft I will be happy. I mean, that's almost 50% bigger than our current biggest coaster.
  3. Thank you, that makes sense. The yellow dot picture was posted earlier and immediately noticed the footer placement on the drop was different in that the supports didn't lean back to the widest set and wondered why. Your explanation makes sense though
  4. And the footers that are the widest set have two footers and then the second smaller set. It's like there is an extra set
  5. Maybe an old school pre drop? Lol
  6. But they at least go at far back. The second set on the new coaster make it seem like the drop won't be as steep
  7. why would B&M do the supports differently on this coaster than the other two gigsa they've done IF this is a gigs as well? The second set of supports on the drop just make it look like it wouldn't be as steep, which doesn't make sense to me
  8. It does look like the real world versions. The set of supports on the drops tilt backwards and are spread to the same width as the widest set. This new coaster has a second completely separate set of footers between the widest and backbone on the drop
  9. I know I'm gonna be there Friday morning as soon as they open just for this reason
  10. I noticed that on Leviathan and Fury the lift support footers go from widest or furthest apart, to the backbone footer, but on this new coaster it goes from widest, then has two footers closer, then the backbone. Any idea why that would be?
  11. Is a ‘small giga’ a thing? Lol
  12. What would a heartline roll look like on there? A straight line, right?
  13. I've been following this thread for two hours and of course set my phone down when the magical blueprints are posted then deleted lol
  14. The way the track comes back in makes me think this is an out and back coaster and won't go towards SOB area if the station is where Firehawk was.
  15. I don't like the numbers because I think they only sound appealing when the height is still relevant and new. Beast 135 or Vortex 138 do not sound good because it isn't exciting now to have a 100 foot coaster built, even if that would have been super exciting in 1979 and possibly sounded good back then. I think just 'Fury' sounds better than Fury 325 anyway, but it will definitely sound better in 20+ years when 300+ft coasters aren't the new thing anymore
  16. ^This. They did leave the one X base sign too
  17. When you buy purple converse and two Banshee patches so that you can make Banshee shoes that will match your Banshee shirt. I'm actually thinking of doing this for Beast with Red Converse and diamond back with yellow converse and Mystic Timbers with my olive green converse and Flight of Fear with black converse.
  18. Yes maybe one name is for the giga and one name is for the flat ride they are going to put where they left Firehawk's queue
  19. Just got here. Tons of kids and busses leaving as I came in. Banshee and Drop Tower less than 5 min wait
  20. Awesome thank you for the update. I will be there in an hour and will update again on how the lines are for anyone else interested
  21. It would be cool if they went with Orion and the three trains were named after the three stars in Orion's Belt- Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka.
  22. You will be fine. I am same height as you and also had a baby recently but I'm 20 lbs heavier and fit everything with no issues at all
  23. Anyone at park now? How busy is it?
