  1. yea i love that park!! i go there atleast once a year. i went last month and got to talk to both pat and will koch (i thought will was the owner ..not pat) anyways.. they're both great people who really care about the park and how the customers feel. seeing them operate/clean rides, run stores, etc. is so amazing!! they act as if they're just normal employees and not stuck-up or anything. the free soft drinks must make it great!! i think i spent $3 for a burger and fries (drink was free) and that's like all i spent that day.. i got my ticket free from a friend. they aren't there to make tons of money.. they're there to let the customer have fun!! keep up the good work HW
  2. it's all dependant on the ride... on Delirium any seat's fine.. um.. DZ i prefer facing out towards the center of the park (not the parking lot) but i'll still enjoy my ride either way. Vortex i usually sit in the way back, beast i sit in first available, racer middle to back, AE back, SOB back (middle row..not on top of wheels!), FOF first available, F/O anywhere where i can face my friends (first available when alone), TR:TR i love the second row somewhere in the middle..i hate being on the sides for some reason. TG towards the back but i'll take first available too (that ride's not all that great no matter where you sit ) and that about covers it all.. probably anything else i'll just sit wherever if i even ride anything else
  3. that's what it looks like.. the pic above is of joker's jinx at SFA
  4. "a time for us" from romeo and juliet is the only one i ever hear there cause i'm never near the entrance long.. i just come in and immediately move to Vortex most of the time.
  5. i was wondering the same question a while back.. in addition to what the guy above said i'm guessing they have a signal transmitter just strong enough to transmit the station throughout the park. and then they just tune that that channel and yay
  6. ride's can't operate in certain weather conditions so no year round operation of all rides wouldn't work.. having a few special events would be great though! (and would work)
  7. PKI is on tv when the media wants to blow something gay out of proportion "Today at PKI Jeff Gilligan stubbed his toe. Later on we'll find out if he's going to sue the park..stay tuned!"
  8. dangit what's with stupid reruns!! o well i'll watch it anyway cause it has Delirium
  9. a BB slide would be a possibility because since it just opened they wanna give guests more reason to keep coming back
  10. i would disagree... if you're inside next to a bunch of supports then yea you'll get the sense of speed.. it's kinda hard to tell outside because you have scenery far away in most cases.. in an indoor ride they'd try to bring the scenery right up by you.. we'll see though.
  11. well we'll know for sure in 3 days.. i for one am quite excited about this announcement.. it'll be a nice way to start out the school year.
  12. o wow that's the gayest name for a ride i've ever heard and i thought "scream" was bad
  13. hangtime guys.. that's not impossible
  14. yea i think they should allow it as long as they change (like it stated Disney does). then all would be good
  15. my friend had one of her little backpack girly things stolen on Vortex with like $2 in it (don't ask..lol) but PKI reimbursed that amount for her and found the backpack in a bathroom close to The Vortex later on. i personally have never had any problems with stuff being stolen because i hold on to everything (always stick my digi cam in my pocket) so yea if you can hold onto your items do so. it's not all that likely that your stuff will be taken but it's even less likely if you're holding it.
  16. um..yea it IS a web cam o person who comes and thinks he's smarter than all others. a webcam can easily save in JPEG. the file format has nothing to do with saying if it's a wbcam or not
  17. /\ if you don't htink we'll get one over 200 then how are we gonna get a 250 one? i think we knew what you meant though.
  18. well they monitor the riders to make sure they aren't doing stupid stuff like pulling out their camera on the second lift f The Beast, or flashing peple on the rides, etc. and on river rapids they help with getting people wet as well
  19. well just a behind the scenes show might not appeal to very many people. however if they did a game show like SFMM did that would rock!! they could easily integrate information about how the park operates throughout the show.
  20. the commercial advertises it for the one day admission (it's like $29.99 i think) but for two visits you pay the price of one reg. price (42.99)
  21. rumors on this can be found throughout the site in millions of spots. stop making new topics on it. no one knows and if they do they can't tell you because it's confidential
  22. well they could've renamed it. and um..the reason F/O's queue is that way is because you pretty much have to either enter or exit while walking under the track. there's not many other ways to do it . and i remember KC's fence being metal when i rode it. and like i said above, the fence could've always been changed had it still been wooden. ok so we know they COULD'VE fixed the ride up if they wanted but PKI decided to give us Delirium instead which is fine.
  23. /\ (up 2 posts) um..i donubt the fence had anything to do with it. they could've easily gotten a new fence to make it quieter. i just think they wanted something new.
  24. yea.. i still think they could've had some parts made by someone else but in truth the ride was old and pretty ghetto looking. PKI just didn't wanna turn into SFKK i guess. though without KC gone we wouldn't have Delirium!!! i mean i miss KC but hopefully it'll find a new home that can love it as much as PKI did (and give it new trains!)
  25. jiggling hotdogs? wow those guys have interesting minds ...i can see it now "if you like it rough..ride The Beast!"
