Cedar Fair didn't have to offer anything considering the below is listed as the terms of agreement. They were trying to make most customers happy and not sink the company from missing a year of income.
I agree that all ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL – NO REFUNDS, NO TRANSFERS OR EXCHANGES, NO RAIN CHECKS, NOT VALID FOR CASH.
All operating dates and hours are subject to change without notice.
All rides and attractions are subject to closings and cancellations for weather or other conditions.

Are we sure this is a construction fence and not just a fence closing of the old Wicked Twister area?

At Disney they measure the time by handing a guest a marker on it. When you get the ride station you hand the cast member the marker.

Well it sounds like the park or someone modified the ride to allow the harness to open up ore than it was designed to. Without the modification the ride wouldn't have been able to dispatch

You didn't have a pandemic in that time span either.

Too be fair, Chick Fil A, is probably the most consistent with food quality and service than most if not all of the other food options within the park. When you’re paying park prices on food it’s nice to know and come to expect what you’re getting for your money. Chick Fil A does that. Getting Chilli Cheese Crinkle cut fries at Skyline is like playing Russian roulette, and yes I like to live dangerously for a unique fry that can only be found at Kings Island Skylines!
I think there is still supply chain issues. I notice this at restraunts near me that sometimes the product is different. Different chicken wings, different fries ect. I notice it more at non-chain restraunts.

We typical have just mostly do skyline, and larosas in the past. They are usually the quickest and most friendly for our kids. This year I am able to branch out a bit and find some healthier items to try.

I would love to see some improvements in the snoopy area. Maybe a couple of newer kid/toddler flat rides.

Now just to remove that nasty gum tunnel!

I like the overall environment of Halloween Haunt. I think the kids portion of the Haunt is over crowded since moving back from Soak City. Planet Snoopy becomes too crowded and using Soak City was a great way to resolve that. The park is always packed full of guest every Friday and Saturday night during haunt. Canceling this even would hurt the parks even more. If Cedar Fair is strapped for cash its time to offload some of the parks they haven't touched in 20 years.

I think we need to see an update in the kids area before anything. Its been many years since the park has added anything in this area.

I know a couple of happy kiddos who would be thrilled to see that return.

I wonder if any of the shows will ever return durning the main season.

They may loose alot of money. Guest pay alot for snacks, ice cream and deep fried cookie dough comes to time.

Wasn't there issues with them paying for some of the new coasters opening up? Where are they getting this kind of cash at?

I have been lucky enough to ride Top Thrill Dragster a few times. The launch and the atmosphere around the ride is awesome. However on my last few visits to the park its been nothing but a dissapointment. Queuing for an hour and have it break down. I don't think anything really make sa guest more upset. Its mechanical and things happen but this has happened to us multiple times the past few years. Its time for the thing to go.

Anyone ever try the Buffalo Blue Cheese popcorn. I chickened out our last visit but we are heading to Disney later this year. We had a Disney cruise planned but choose to opt out with all the COVID going on.

Its going to be almost like visiting an entire new park!

Why should we believe that? Because they told you that when you were doing the research for your book? Of course they did! I guess it's totally coincidental out of the soon to be 6 Cedar Fair Gigas, that Kings Island happens to have the only scaled down one. Keep drinking that Cedar Fair KI Kool Aid. "With all things being equal, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one."
Cedar Fair or the parks add whatever will get them the greatest ROI not because they favor one park over another. If they thought a dippin dots stand would make them millions Im sure we see those instead of roller coasters installed.

Ended up being an issue with my computer. We were able to access the page on another device.

The park has now made their 50th Anniversary season events page live. They are not waisting any time staring the 50th anniversary.
Did the pathway that is the near The Racer change? It doesn't seem like you can get that close to it now.

Is anyone else having issues with the Kings Island website? It is very slow at loading if it does and when I tried to renew our passes I kept getting a database error.

I think the Invertago Spot could be a nice spot for a Giant Ferris Wheel.
