  1. The Beast isnt overrated. The longest wooden in the world for 26 year assmuning no park will build any longer in 05 but all those tunnels and ground hugging track what can beat it the Raven 4000 feet less POS sure cant.

  2. As a life~long fan of Kings Island {My father used to work there} and I mean Looooooong time patron {earliest memories are riding The Beastie} I only wish I could find more info on the non=coaster rides. There's almost no mention of the Flight Simulator, the Smurfs ride, or anything of that nature. Any chance that the site could dig a little further into the past?

I would rather foget the motion thing that thing was a waste of my time at the park much less my money. offtopic.gif

  3. Actually, I don't think PCW's jump in attendance was truly that high.  I have read elsewhere that figures from some of the parks were reported incorrectly in 2003 which affected the attendance figures for 2004, hence the huge jump.  On a side note, I'd like to know where all this shade supposedly is at PKI.  It must be anywhere but ride queues cause there's none there except Delirium.

The big outside section of TR:TR is shaded most of The Beast que is covered same with Racer. Most of Vortex's que is also shaded. I can't of anymore right now, I'm kind of out of it today. blink.gif

wait Vortex barley even has a que. All it has is that little thing up and that little walkway. I dony even what th think what it looked when it first opened

  4. I love Pki and the park itself. I just disagree on some things they decide to install. I think we need a more reliable coaster than a premier multiple launch. Heck we already have a launch coaster why do we need another?? But lets get this straight I REALLY DO LOVE PKI!!!

Look at the attandce for Universal Studios much more themed than coaster park and Cedar Point a mainly coaster park. US has much much more attendance. Parks are looking for what is bringing in money and right now it happens to be the themed family rides. People are looking for a place where a family can go and ride the rides together. Themed mild rides are what is brining in money and PKI isnt open for us they are open to make money. Its about them and not us (mostly) if you realize it or not.

  5. I rode it like 6 times when I went end of July tongue.gif

Although not great, it's a coaster that actually operated that day (pouring rain all day)

Yea that is true since that is the orginal park.

All I have to say is you get what you pay for.

    CASE CLOSED!

  7. Yes that is what I was refering to in my earlier post. You also have to realize this will only add about 40% more capcity not 50 cause it will only cut loading times. Also they would need staff on both sides of the track it will also lower rebiltiy. Lines for Face/off arent too terribaly that bad anyway.

  8. Two trains on Face/off is possible but would require the park to spend alot of extra money for the parts and also the ride reliablty would go way down. I say 1 hour isnt that long of a wait.

  9. The weather has been really bad for pouring cement lately. I am sure it will start to pick up soon it is not like they have to build 300 foot tall supports. The track and getting the theming in place will take no time at all. They still have plenty of time until opening day.

  10. Okay so the site make a profit from the sales but do you acually use the money to go out and have a good time or do you put the money back into the site just wondering its all fine and dandy if you dont want to answer.
