Is it just me or does it look like there are stars in the background of that poster?

Just made this concept of a B&M wing coaster in Action Zone. I give you KeyMaster!

I know that this is a horrible drawing, but I think a tunnel at the bottom of the turnaround would be really cool. Like if you are in fact going to be spiraling down, it would be very neat to spiral down into the tunnel. Note: the tunnel is gray because the background is black.

GateKeeper's announcement was held outside in the rain.

I know you can't really trust these, but here's next Thursday night's weather forecast! Hopefully it stays this way since it would be fitting to have the announcement under the stars on a clear night!

I looked at the MT leaked layout and it doesn't have the tunnel listed on the turnaround. So an above ground tunnel isn't out of the question right now.

**TRIPLE POST** I understand the inactivity though due to the big announcement coming up. Anyways, here is an idea I made for an Intamin blitz where BLSC is. It'd make that area part of Rivertown. Plus an interactive queue line all inside a barn. A two level barn so there is switchbacks on both levels. I give you Mustang! (Yes, I'm aware that was the rumored name for Diamondback.)

Kings Island replied to a comment on Facebook saying the announcement will in fact be live streamed. Details to come next week.

That was I believe created by a user on the forums here. Edit: the timer also says 10:00 am not pm. The announcement is at 10 pm.

I'm talking after that. It would be at the very bottom of the drop pullout (similar to Leviathan). The headchopper moment is at the beginning of the pullout. Also, it would be nice to have multiple tunnels, but I'm not so sure if we'll see more than one or two. My vote for two tunnels would be 1) bottom of drop pullout and 2) bottom of helix that goes under drop. Another idea I've had is at the bottom of the turnaround where you spiral down into the tunnel. That would be fun.

I really think that if Kings Island doesn't do a tunnel at the bottom of the first drop, they will be missing out. A tunnel would be perfect for a space like/ sci-fi themed coaster.

Maybe a themed tunnel at the first drop. Not just a tunnel that you go through like Leviathan, but a tunnel with theming. Maybe fog or a light effect simulating traveling through space.

Speaking of countdowns, I wonder why Kings Island doesn't have a countdown to the announcement on their website yet. It's less than a week until the announcement.

Diamondback track arrived early in 2008. Like July! So maybe we could see track soon.

**DOUBLE POST** I was also thinking. What if they took out Backlot Stunt Coaster and put in something like Maverick in that spot. I know not likely since Cedar Fair isn't likely going to work with Intamin anytime soon. But they could maybe theme it to Rivertown since BLSC is sorta in Rivertown and at the same time, not really. I think that area would look much better tied into Rivertown and with a multi launch coaster or blitz.

I've had the idea before where they could convert the former FOF photo area into a gift shop. I know it's not too likely, but it's possible. I think we're going to see more than just the coaster to that area. Cedar Fair doesn't usually just plop a coaster in an area without doing other things in that area. I think we'll see the concrete ripped up and replaced with pavers next year as well.

Also, where do you all think they will sell merch for this coaster? According to the blueprints, there doesn't look to be any gift shop. Maybe they'll do one separately or maybe they'll sell merch for it around the park? It's understandable why they didn't do a gift shop for Mystic Timbers since there are already a gift shop right next to it. But there is no gift shop right there by the coaster. I'm just curious.

So do you think they'll project the announcement on the FOF building? Probably the hanger like portion that has the red doors? I see enough room there for a stage to be set up and the video played above it on the wall.

Obviously trolling lol. People just love to think The Beast Unleashed thing is real!

I don't want a dive. But if we get one I won't whine and complain.

I wonder if Kings Island will leave us with some type of thing to speculate on after the announcement. I'm starting to doubt it myself, but anything's possible.

When do you all think they'll put a poster up on the fence about the announcement date? I know they had one for Mystic Timbers and they already announced the date for this one.

So you want them to build a second hyper that's smaller than their current hyper?

Looks like they are using it for FOF next year as an extended queue.
