  1. A neat video on the making of Fury 325 at Carowinds
  2. I would love a water feature in PS. Like one where kids can get in and play around in. They used to have a water thing that kids could go through, but they removed it for the new rides in PS for 2015. I kinda miss the water thing.
  3. He said he requested it. It doesn't mean it'll happen. Corporate has the final say on it. They could decide to go another route.
  4. Nah, I'm thinking it could be a wing coaster if not a giga. That imo doesn't look like a good spot for a dive coaster.
  5. There is a good amount of space on the left side of FOF where they could put an entry plaza.
  6. What he said was that the presentation that he presented to corporate was for the next 3-4 years. It's basically like those 5 year plans parks talk about.
  7. When I went to Cedar Point back in August, we camped at Camp Sandusky which is a few minutes away from the park. The thing with that campground is that it is right near the road and I remember being awoken a couple of times from cars driving by and motorcycles starting up. Well there was a McDonald's across the street so that's where we went for Breakfast.
  8. 2007 - CP: Maverick, KI: Firehawk. I know FH was relocated, but it still was an addition to the park. 2000 - CP: Millennium Force, KI: Son of Beast
  9. It doesn't say that it will occupy the space, but if the decision to remove Firehawk was in fact made in the middle of the summer (like Don said at the GOCC event), which would be like July or August, that kinda lines up to the time when the notice of commencement was filed which was in August.
  10. It does not work in turns. If that were the case, the smaller parks would've gotten some sort of coaster by now. It's about business. I honestly think some people are setting themselves up for disappointment since everyone is thinking it's confirmed when it really isn't.
  11. I've not 100% expecting one since it's not 100% confirmed and hasn't been announced yet. All we have is the removal of Firehawk and the Notice of Commencement.
  12. I think Yukon Striker had a lot more obstacles for construction that it required more time to build. The underwater tunnel and working around Vortex are prime examples
  13. I don't think that's a good idea. I think we should report it to Kings Island
  14. I like this idea! The reds thing didn't really fit the rivertown thing imo. I wonder if maybe they could build a new Reds HOF Grille somewhere else in the park in the future. Like maybe do a whole reds themed area like what Kennywood is doing with the Steelers thing with Steel Curtain.
  15. I agree with everything. Fanboys are starting to become annoying. Some people are starting to forget that the GP make up like 90% of park's income. That's the reason they are bringing the antique cars back since the GP always wanted them back and it's something everyone can do together. I'm sick and tired of everyone complaining about the antique cars and how we should've gotten a coaster in 2019 because they teased it when really it was just posters at CP that didn't really mean much imo. Would we like more thrilling insane rollercoasters? Absolutely! Do we always have to get it? No.
  16. I don't see Timberwolf leaving anytime soon. You've got to remember that SpiritSong brings in a lot of people to the park. They could take out a small portion of it like the top part to support a new coaster, but I don't think they'll take out the entire theatre.
  17. Here's a Mack double launch concept replacing Invertigo/Congo Falls. It also removes a little bit of Timberwolf so they can still hold Spirit Song and it comes with a new event plaza so that during Spirit Song they can have more space for the booths and activities they have outside the theater. They can even have other special events there. I give you Cobra Strike!
  18. If you use the area that I have circled, you wouldn't need to remove that many trees. Diamondback was built in an entire forest. I don't think they'll use the Dino's area. I personally see the Dino's area used for a forbidden frontier type of attraction or they could do a ropes course in the woods. Anyways, if they use this area, they wouldn't need to clear out that many trees. Probably just a few sections for footers.
  19. It doesn't 100% mean 2020, but I think 2020 is still pretty likely because of the notice of commencement.
  20. ^^ Or they could reuse it for the new B&M project. That queue line is not that old and is in quite good condition and could transform well into a queue for a new coaster.
  21. I'm still kinda interested in the photo that @Phantom Theater posted of the Firehawk area in why the queue for Firehawk is still there. As well as the entrance area being the same.
  22. I think it's like it's most likely we'll see a new coaster in 2020 because of the notice of commencement filed back in August.
  23. There are a bunch of storm shelters throughout the park.
  24. The order I would take is 1. Giga 2. Wing 3. Floorless and 4. Dive
  25. My latest giga concept. Come join the X-Force in 2020!
