  1. ^^ I think you slightly misinterpreted their statements. From to what it appears the clearing’s boundary didn’t expand but it seems like most of the work was done on the already cleared land. They seem to have been getting tree remains and various other objects off site while also removing some trees still in the middle of the cleared section.
  2. Last season there was a wave of references at Cedar Point about several parks in the chain, one of those parks being Kings Island. Considering Kings Island close proximity to Cedar Point and the events that occurred last season I’d say there’s an ok chance that we could see teasers at some point at Cedar Point.
  3. My guess is that it’s going to be piping. I kind of hope they don’t go over The Racer (Or over The Beast for that matter)
  4. ^ They definitely were cleaning up the site this week, getting the remains of the trees out ect.
  5. Wow those are high! Really glad those PVC pipes are gone they were really noticeable imo. The fire work show surely is going to be spectacular come summer.
  6. Yeah that’s definitely track.
  7. Yeah I was wondering about that too last weekend when there was a clearing at the bottom of the 2nd hill. I’m really hoping it doesn’t go back there.
  8. The best view to see if the clearing has changed would probably be The Beast, if the clearing now extends past the end of the straight section then it’s expanded.
  9. ^ What if the photo is already water marked?
  10. Yes there’s a ton of supports on site, if you watch Midway mayhems video you can see the supports.
  11. Anyone know if the thickness of this piece of track is giga specific? Or does it become this thick on normal hypers also? If it is giga specific it looks very very similar to some of MCT’s track in my opinion.
  12. This track(One in the very back) looks absolutely huge, anyone know if that’s backbone? I’m guessing maybe not since I don’t see an area for the chain lift.
  13. Oh now I see what you mean, it appears it maybe apart of the lift section like these other pieces of track with the same number.
  14. ^ Why do you mean by other number, are you referring to the 18? The rollercoasters have the same paint job so theyre almost certainly going to Hershey (Not referring to the gray track) the number could mean several different things, could be the order the track gets shipped out, could be the order the track was made, could be the order the track needs to be installed ect. There’s several different shots of the gray track that appear to be absolutely massive (Granted B&M track is huge to begin with) id say give it a week and we might see Back Bone.
  15. Here’s a YouTube video from Midway Mayhem if you wanted a video of the track
  16. How many track pieces are there for fury and how many track pieces are there for the average hyper? The one of the left looks like it says MCT 890.
  17. The sticker also references the closing date, id say this is almost certainly an Easter egg and not actual teasing.
  18. I don’t know if this is a teaser but the photo makes it look very much temporary and not a long term prop or theming. Wonder if we’ll see any teasers come Friday. I kind of doubt it is considering there’s a similar looking sticker of Maverick. Here’s an article showing the several references from other parks. https://www.coaster101.com/2019/04/06/examining-the-easter-eggs-of-carowinds-blue-ridge-junction/
  19. I’d much rather GCI retrack Beast and maybe have them add in 2 airtime hills in the long trim break section. I’d be pretty upset if RMC touched The Beast.
  20. ^ To add to that several Banshee contractors were also listed, not saying they couldn’t work on an RMC project but I feel the fact they’re listed adds more substance to it being B&M, also does Baynum even work with RMC? I’ve gotten the impression RMC paints the rides them selves
  21. Ahh thank you for the correction. Guess it’s kind of obvious I don’t go to haunt often.
  22. I’d say there’s a good chance we might lose two haunts this year, Field of Screams is obviously going away or it’ll need be relocated and we might also see Chaos go away if they plan on getting a head start on relocating those buildings. Kind of a shame Field of screams is going away, I absolutely loved walking next to racer on the way back.
  23. So do we think the Firebawk plot will be used for this project or another project later down the line? Guess we need to wait and see where the first footer goes I guess.
  24. I cherish all the memories that I’ve gotten to experience and will continue to experience at the park. It’s a special place, so many Birthday celebrations there, memories with childhood friends & Family there. Just a lot of good experiences and memories this park has helped created.
  25. I just don’t understand how a Wing coaster (Or any B&M) after 3 years makes total sense but the second it’s a giga coaster after three years it’s finical ruin for Cedar Fair. No matter what B&M they’re building it’s going to be expensive, what Cedar Fair is going to look at is what coaster model will they get the most ROI, and it seems wing coasters, which are expensive didn’t seem to perform all that great at Cedar Point. Now look at valravn, it constantly has long line and wasn’t all that expensive compared to GateKeeper, thus we’re now seeing more Dive coasters being built. Now Fury 325 was a MASSIVE success for Carowinds and In my opinion Cedar Fair saw the success of Fury which had a high ROI and will install one at one of the most important parks in the chain.
