1) The Royal Fountains. Seems like it's on the original antique cars plan. Gets removed but then the park realizes the mistake and tries to right the wrong. 2) A relative of Beast. RMC hybrid next after this B&M Giga please. Would be HUGE for marketing. Can't miss. But people would think it's Son of Beast?!! That cracks me up. Would it even matter?? Facebook learned a long time ago people post more when they disagree than when they agree. Think about that. 3) Really tall waterslide. Would be a reason to go to the waterpark other than the lazy river. 4) More things unexpected. Character actors etc.

I want money to go towards improvements. Not lateral moves or even regression. Right now it seems like the change was a lateral move at best. Taking out nostalgia for the sake of having something 2019.

I'm with you @SonofBaconator on everything except for the last part where you say we should be happy were even talking about a new coaster addition at all. Yes we can be happy we even get to open our eyes in the morning. But that's not how business works. Kings Island can either choose to compete for money from customers..or not. Yes they can turn the whole park into dark rides and attempt to be Disney Midwest, but I wouldn't go. Maybe that's the most profitable strategy for them..or not.

Before the royal fountains were the spectacle. But apparently now the fountains have to rely on aesthetic lighting otherwise they look like they do...

Hopefully fake unless it's 350'+ Otherwise I see it being like Son of Beast. Where the best part of the ride is undoubtedly the first drop, and the rest is mostly just fluff.

If the blueprints are real, looks like a giga on a tight budget. Hoping the next coaster after is an RMC hybrid!! But not just a dumbed down version on Steel Vengeance though.

The fountain "upgrade" was certainly botched if you ask me, I would much rather look at the old (actual) fountains. They took something majestic, and made it look like a pond at an apartment complex. I don't want to be all negative, so I will say that the new antique cars looks incredible.

Possible to be something not Peanuts sure.. But I think it's more likely to be turned into a Peanuts theme than all other possibilities combined. I'm kind of surprised by your skepticism, but maybe you're just playing devils advocate? Either way the current attraction needs some sprucing up I think we can agree on that.

Everything you stated still doesn't mean there isn't a correlation between increased KI attendance and profits @Honorarius . Yes they would like to squeeze every penny out of you, but there is only so much they can do in certain markets. Example I'd say Cedar Point makes more on average per guest than Kings Island does. A giga would make me visit much more frequently from my wagon wheel residence. On the flipside, I am not a fan of season long dining. IMO it leads to lower quality food service while also putting extra non-spending bodies in the park on weekdays. @chugh43 I wouldn't take what I hear from "some people" as true across the board. Sure some people will buy their pass and not have much else to spend in the park that day. But logic would say that since they bought a season pass, they will be back for more visits..and who knows, maybe they will bring some money with them when they do. (People usually get paid every week or every other week.)

Do you know where they rank attendance wise? What about the park makes it mystique to you?

I wasn't expecting so much Son of Beast talk in The Racer thread ..I think Racer > Son of Beast. Glad they are restoring classic ride.

I like the policy because the kids won't have to be sad riding by themselves
