How was the ride? I haven’t ridden it yet, maybe this weekend. Let me know. Thanks.

This is gonna be barely or under 5000 feet. At 90 mph that’s insanely short.

That Kings Island received the model of rollercoaster Cedar Point added 20 years earlier. Magnum XL - Diamond back, Raptor - Banshee, both installments 20 years after Cedar Point. Now the theory is 2020 for a giga since it’d be 20 years since Mill Force.

    2 examples =/= the rule

That is not true at all...many have given reasons including things such as proximity to other like coasters, the similarities to what we already have, etc.

KI isn’t that close to any park. I highly doubt CP cares about that.

Yeah, look through this thread....many have given all the reasons of why we think those options wouldn't work.

Nobody has given a valid reason other than “I don’t want one”.

How do you know exactly what the ROI on those two investments were?

    Attendance, industry insight, ridership.

Keep in mind that CGA’s hyper already got canned due to Railblazer’s poor performance.

  6. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a giga if I were you espeacilly if CF may spend elsewhere. Keep an eye out for a wing or flyer.

Thing is Fury was built because of the expanding market of the Carolinas, and was part of a massive investment by CF. KI hasn’t gotten that much out of Banshee (their biggest investment) and Mystic Timbers (one of the most expensive wooden coasters) return wise so a giga at a fairly stagnant park isn’t a wise decision.

It just seems like something built up by fans more than legitimate proof.

Fingers crossed for a 2020 coaster. I can't recall but has KI and CP ever gotten a coaster in the same year? I can think back and do some slight research but think ill ask instead lol

CP isn’t slated to get a coaster in 2020 but ok

We literally have documents filed with the county in August with 2018, 2109, 2020 as dates and B&M listed as a contractor. How is that not a confirmation? The county uses a much higher standard than "the park hasn't posted anything on Facebook about it."

The only logical explanation is people like to play the "I'm going to be the contrarian on a message board" game.

Plans can get cancelled or delayed at any time. We would have heard a lot more by now imo if this really was a humongous giga project.
