  1. It's also possible that they're just the initials for KI but that when put together the posters will all say something together. KIGIGA for example. I'm not saying that's what it's going to say, but I'm thinking we'll continue to see more posters with letters and in the end they'll spell something out.
  2. Does anyone want to go in on a business venture with me? I've just been inspired for the name of a bar near Cedar Point.
  3. As a couple others noted when I asked about those numbers earlier, those are also the number of years the rides are/were there. 11 and 20 for Firehawk and Invertigo respectively.
  4. I bet that's it for the numbers. Any guesses on AZ? At first I thought Action Zone when I saw it on Invertigo but obviously Firehawk wasn't there.
  5. Anyway so what do you guys think the 11 : AZ and 20 : AZ mean?
  6. I didn't realize two people posted them, I thought Magenta had just zoomed in on the relevant parts of the original photo. So seeing as I thought only one person had posted them and they're now gone I don't feel like It was dumb to doubt they existed in the first place....lol
  7. I'm noticing the same thing. It doesn't look like the same fence. EDIT: Somebody else look and tell me if I'm crazy. The teaser pics and the pictures @Bansheeback posted don't look like the same fence to me at all.
  8. What sense does this make?
  9. It also says on the poster what they were testing for with each coaster...
  10. Ok well it looks like we have something after all
  11. None of these strike me as anything other than standard PR social marketing team stuff that would be posted regardless. I'm really not buying that they aren't teasing the ride because of free skyline chili or what have you. While this might be Cedar Fair's biggest offseason investment, they in fact do need to worry about being upstaged by other parks that are doing a much better job hyping up their new attractions than ki currently is. I don't know what the thinking was behind doing things the way they did, but I don't think they should do it again.
  12. For sure. I was more reacting to the idea of no announcement event, but that's not likely to be the case anyway.
  13. Wow that would laaaaaame.
  14. THIS SUMMER... Prepare for inversions that place your head so firmly inside your ass that you never realize you were wrong all along.... GROOM OF BEAST..... Opening April 2023
  15. This summer...prepare to be nagged....to....DEATH. WIFE OF BEAST Opening April 2023. EDIT: I realize this is completely wrong, but I really just couldn't help it.
  16. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I agree with you. I don't think it's completely crazy to think at some point CF will build another coaster that's part of the whole Beast lineage. I know SOB was a disaster, I know people are tired of hearing fans say they want SOB to come back, but I really do think the IDEA behind making a coaster at Kings Island that was a spiritual successor to it's signature ride was a fantastic one. The flaw was always with the execution, never with the concept. I believe the only reason it hasn't happened yet is because it's all still a bit fresh and I think they worry that unveiling a new ride that's a "reboot", if you will, of the whole SOB thing would still bring to mind the dumpster fire that was SOB. You're kidding yourself, though, if you think the GP (and a lot of enthusiasts) wouldn't go absolutely NUTS if KI announced a ride with the general idea of "SOB but if you did it RIGHT". Everyone is a sucker for a redemption arc. No idea when it will happen, but I'd be willing to bet it will, and in my mind I can't think of a better time to do it than if they build an RMC. Just my take.
  17. It's not. The people saying it's USA are correct. My local fireworks show did the exact same thing and it looked just as weird and wonky.
  18. Ok. Well I'm getting the impression that in your earlier post you were hinting that the park has decided not to tease the new ride because people complained about it so much, am I about right on that? I do think that recently this page has been a bit more testy and negative, but on the other hand I think you'll find a lot of praise and love for the park on this blog as well. I tend to agree with you about the bathrooms, btw. I've been to the park a ton of times this season and really haven't had any problems. Definitely nothing that I wouldn't excpect from such a crowded place anyway.
  19. Can you clarify this? What has the negativity on the forum kept you from doing?
  20. Hey now I wouldn't write it off as not being better than any of the other Gigas just yet. There's still hope lol.
  21. I tend to agree. Even with Xbase being out of the way, I really do think it's strange that KI has apparently decided not to tease the biggest attraction they've built in the last 10 years. Not just strange, but also regrettable imo. At the end of the day I'm sure we're all going to enjoy the announcement and of course getting to finally ride this thing, but I really do hope the next time KI plans to add something new like this, that they take the time to post little tidbits at least on Social Media. I think it's also worth noting that the guy claiming to be an employee yesterday on Reddit also mentioned that there would be no teasers at all.
  22. hahah thats so funny that people ask that, frickin noobs! I know the answer to this but just for fun, you should totally say what the answer is um...just to troll the noobs.
  23. That would be kind of a crappy teaser then, but I get the sense you're hinting at something you're aware of. What are some of the gold tag street names?
  24. I don't know why you're so convinced it's not real. None of us know for sure obviously but it is within the timeframe we would've expected it to be, and we've now heard it from more than one source. Sure, take it with a grain of salt, but I'm definitely going to proceed as if that's the date so I've got my ducks in a row if it is.
  25. Yeah that's pretty dumb. I don't think too many people are going to pay 50 cents for that. I see why they went with tokens though anyway just because people were probably not bringing change around the way they used to.
