dont get wrong ill likely be one of the first people in line when this giga opens. but as a consumer i am a bit underwelmed. once the official layout is shown maybe we will change our minds

i agree with alot of this. if i had the choice between this leaked giga or a copperhead strike like coaster id take the latter. in my opinion the current layout is such a waste for a giga coaster.

if i saw that the plans had a full size giga on it i would be more inclined to believe its true. the current leaked layout to me seems awfully short. i dont even care if it breaks every record in the book (even though id love that) but darn if you are going to build this big of a coaster why would you make it so short. Like i said in a previous post of mine if it was RMC making us a coaster we would know even with a short layout that they would put in the effort and creativity to make the most of that space. but we are talking about B&M here.

i feel like it has to use some of it. Firehawk was a maintenance nightmare sure but i think the decision to remove it was to make way for this coaster. ill be pretty upset if the layout doesnt use some of the Firehawk plot. With all this being said im still in the "the leaked layout is fake" camp.

yep i have to agree here but man my heart cant take any more of this roller coaster of a season and its only the beginning of may...

If anything RMC has shown us is they can pack in a ton of stuff in a small track length. if we were getting an RMC i would have no doubt they are going to put there best into the ride. but we are talking about B&M, the most cookie cutter and predictable ride manufacture out there. sure B&M could finally spice things up a bit but i just dont think thats the case.

im pretty convinced that this layout is fake. im really hoping it is fake.. to me i just cant fathom CF building such a mediocre giga coaster. Its leaked layout would looks incredibly lack luster and to add insult to injury its a short ride. i can deal with KI not getting the tallest and fastest or longest giga out there but dang it stings that its actually shorter than what i would consider average for a giga.

He won't tell us what's in the layout or show it to us. But he will still let you know if you are wrong. Awesome

i love the idea but i think planet coaster would be a better alternative! it allows for more realistic layouts and themeing creativity. dont get me wrong i freaking adore RCT2

you are absolutely putting words in our mouths. nobody here has said that KI as a business hinges on this giga. nobody here is claiming that KI isnt successful. we are just stating that KI could use some seriously world class rides. what you define as world class is going to be different than others. nobody is claiming their opinion as a fact. you should loosen up a bit and just enjoy the discussion. i think you are getting a bit to invested in this conversation

i didnt claim it as a fact. just stated my opinion and i dont have to give you a full essay on why i think that KI still isnt on the map on a decoding thread. its off topic. i wont discuss this any further. happy decoding!

you certainly can. but it just boils down to people just have different tastes and different opinions. nobody is right or wrong. plus this is a decoding thread so im not interested in having a full on debate about KI. Another time maybe?

to each his own of course. i think the only rides at KI that wow me are The Beast and Mystic Timbers. Banshee IMO is a string of cookie cutter inversions with not much variety. and the ride doesn't snap through the inversions which i like on other inverts. Dimaondback is fine but after the turnaround i feel the ride is pretty much over from that point other than the splashdown being a unique element. i got a chance to ride nitro a couple weeks ago and it amazes me how much better a B&M hyper can be when its not just floater airtime hill after floater airtime hill over and over again. Like i said mystic was a step in the right direction but like i said.. to each his own. if you enjoy these the top 4 at the park then keep enjoying it. i still think KI needs something with some intensity and i hope that this new giga will provide that.

i mean fury 325 is number 2 on that list. if KI builds this giga i imagine it will be up there as well

never experienced it one ride but did assist with an aborted launch a few years ago. got to push the train back into the station with maintenance and other rides management folks. Was a nice treat that day for sure

if its anything like raging bull i want a refund right now lol

personally i think its big enough, not all gigas are out and back so maybe we will see twister sections as well

i was literally on my way to the park to try to get some rides and pic of the construction site but it started raining pretty hard. i turned around and went home haha
