This is by the same people as BGWFans, a site known for extremely accurate leaks.

Hopefully KD getting their Volcano replacement so soon (for those of you out of the loop, plans for a 2021 B&M wing coaster just got leaked) is a sign for things to come at KI. They're pretty similar circumstances.

I gotta say, that video was worth not having webcams for two weeks.

RIP King, even though I never liked you very much.

What about a Mack Rides extreme spinner? Plopsaland is getting an insane-looking model in 2021 so they're starting to make more of them.

Millennium is too. They also got a arrow suspended around the same time as KI. I mean just because it doesn't happen all the time doesn't mean it isn't possible. Especially as the lineups begin to flesh out and can't be as different.
Different manufacturer. And KI is already missing a lot of coasters that would fit better, like a Mack Launch or an RMC T-Rex or a Gerstlauer, which are things you can't find at Cedar Point.

I really hope they do a Vortex memorial site like they did with Son of Beast.

There's a giga, and invert, woodies and everything else we have got too. That doesn't matter that much.
There's a big difference. All of those rides have different manufacturers or are pretty old so it wouldn't really matter too much. Valravn is also heavily featured in Cedar Point's marketing.

X to doubt any dive coaster rumors. There's already one right up the road in Sandusky.

What if we got something like Der Schwur des Karnan? It wouldn't have a ton of inversions, but the special elements would more than make up for that. Plus, they could theme the tower really well and it'd stand out against the skyline.
EDIT: Can someone overlay Karnan onto The Vortex plot?

Hmm, does this have any merit?

At least rides on The Beast at night will be better with Vortex gone. You'll be able to see a lot more of the park from the second lift hill instead of having Vortex block it all.

IF this happens, I think Six should adopt CF's business model. I couldn't see Cedar Fair letting Six Flags touch its big 4 parks: CP, KI, CW, and CWS
Knotts too.

There's no way this goes through. Maybe Six Flags acquires some of the smaller parks (looking at you Michigan's Adventure) but if Cedar Point, Knotts, Kings Island, Carowinds, and Canada's Wonderland get purchased by SF there's going to be some major problems.

Plus with a dive we'd get a max of 4 inversions. Floorlesses generally have 7.
To answer your question @Kingshaven, there was always talk on here a replacing Vortex with a floorless years ago. That idea kind of got put on the back burner because everybody was talking about a giga. Now that we have a giga that talk has sprung back up. In all honesty a floorless would be an appropriate replacement for Vortex just because they basically are smoother versions of arrow loopers with better transitions. We could opt for a sit-down B&M like Kumba, Wildfire, Etc but I think the talk of a floorless is always on the table because it's just one little extra gimmick that the GP would love.
Now that Cedar Fair has acquired some different types of rides like Raptors, Infinity coasters, and multi launches I think everybody is just rushing to the conclusion that those will be the most likely coasters. A lot of people forget that Kings Island doesn't really follow the trend of coasters around the chain- they always do something new and unique. I think adding a floorless coaster would bring back that uniqueness since Cedar Fair hasn't done a ground up floorless in over a decade.
I'll finish off with this- when we heard about Orion everybody immediately started to compare it to Leviathan and Fury saying it was inferior instead of looking at for what it was- a giga. If we get a floorless coaster you can only really compare it to the older models around the chain and across the industry which allows us to differentiate our selves.
.....we're gonna get a floorless, aren't we? Let's hope it's good.

Airtime Thrills overlaid CS on Vortex's plot of land. CS is long and narrow so it'd extend beyond Vortex's plot of land.

Not exactly what I meant. I meant the actual layouts of Kumba and Copperhead Strike onto the land, not a measurement. Thanks though!
