  1. Each state has ride inspectors and signs off on rides within their state. A couple (maybe just Fury?) rides reside in both. Not sure how those are handled. Both must agree to opening plans if/when that happens.
  2. New today: Sea World FL June 11. Much of Disney FL July 11. Masks req at both.
  3. If Kissimmee Fun Spot opens soon, I'm probably going to do an Allegiant flight. ~$70 RT for next couple weekends. I have no problems with Allegiant, especially on a 2hr flight. I like the way you're thinking here. I've been debating it for a couple days when rumors started that FS would be open this weekend.
  4. Some good news in Florida. Fun Spot was given the ok and opened at 2pm today. Masks not req.
  5. There is another photo with the first row with people on outsides, 2nd row 3 people, third row 2 people in the middle of the train.
  6. I tend to agree here. The fact they are firing up rides is hopefully a good sign. In other park news...At least 1 person has been riding Hershey's new coaster recently. They have been running it a lot lately.
  7. Fun Spot in Florida is trying to open this weekend. Mako has been testing with riders in masks this week. Lots of Texas parks petitioning to open asap. Mount Olympus has moved their opening up to this Saturday. Some good news from around the country this week.
  8. That's unfortunate you can't get a test. There are testing places everywhere here in East TN. Clinics and drive throughs. And most are empty. You can pretty much get a test any time you want. Might have to make a reservation if you want the rapid response. Reservations are needed for the antibody test but it's often same day. Not surprising she was positive and works in a nursing home. That's where a lot of this is happening. Hope you don't have any problems or develop anything.
  9. Dollywood does not require the use of lockers. Attendants, most of the time, will assist and put any bags in the bins for you. That might be different for awhile. They have some at Mystery Mine, but no reason to use them.
  10. Agreed. Looking like if CP opens it will be a shell of what it normally is. Disappointing for sure, but that's how the world is this year.
  11. Try Korea. Some of their parks never shut down. Forgot an important word above.
  12. That's really strange. Walmart I visit here in East TN is also right next to a "Bridgewater" road. No one way isles here. More and more people with masks each day I visit. Plenty of customers don't seem to care, plenty do. They are counting people entering and leaving, but I haven't seen a line form at any point. I end up at Walmart every day or two picking up groceries for me or family/neighbors. They close the non-grocery doors an hour earlier than the other doors but no sections are closed. Lowes continues to be busy every time I visit. We've been redoing our kitchen and staining our deck. Like normal, I keep needing something else and run back down there. Best Buy next door is pickup only.
  13. "We know that all of our coaster fans come to HoliWood Nights for insane night rides with The Voyage without trim brakes, and we’re going to make sure that happens. This likely means rescheduling the event, but we’re waiting to finalize our opening date and waiting to find out when our Voyage trains will arrive to be certain."
  14. Exactly. I just don't foresee them breaking up Platinum passes that way. They may do away with them in 2022, but I just don't see them splitting them up now. They just aren't announcing it for some reason.
  15. I'm not in the payment plan but can they do this? Are they allowed to make changes to agreement? I'm assuming yes since they have.
  16. They are just pausing the payments. They will return and extend however long they were paused. You are still going to pay the same price. You will not owe a bunch when it's unpaused to get in the park...just your next payment.
  17. Just give it some time on pass extensions through 2021. It's coming. KI hasn't officially missed any operating days. They aren't going to send it before the season even starts.
  18. All CF parks will extend through 2021. Otherwise, it's a logistical nightmare as outlined above. It also entices people to start buying passes again immediately once parks open. You'll get (potentially) a year and a half for the price of 1. In reality, it's really only a couple months they are getting free since late August and beyond sales include the next season already.
  19. I think it's great all our passes are extended a year. I hope this isn't a sign that 2020 is really in jeopardy as a whole now. I'm still optimistic they get things running mid/late summer.
  20. Fun Spot says hold my beer. They are ready to go as soon as possible.
  21. Saw pictures from yesterday at Nagashima. They were running White Whale with every other row empty.
  22. Next week was being optimistic. Govt is shooting for Easter.
  23. Before closing down, The Wynn in Vegas had thermal scanners on everyone as they entered the casino. Have a fever? You were escorted out.
