  1. Did see what part of the track was being painted?
  2. Do you recall what shade?
  3. I would launch a drone from a public parking lot like the Batavia Heights Christian Child Care. And as part of the video, show the ground and only move up vertically. Also look at FAA restrictions, if you are to do so.
  4. We should start to see the first painted track this week out at Claremont Steel Factory! Stay on the lookout!
  5. Hi! I’m actually really happy that you took the time to analyze these elements. I spent WAY to long on them so that when anylized they’d pass the test of scrutiny. I know for a fact my “recreation” isn’t perfect because we don’t have B&M’s 3D model of the ride. However concerning both those elements based on the blueprints (I used a direct scaled overlay to make the elements) I’m pretty confident in the shaping to the extent they demonstrate the concept of the respective element. For the first turn around that I am calling a “reverse dive turn” has a a little bit of airtime at the “crest” but since we know the high and low points from the blueprints and the turn shape from a top down view. It would appear to be a more standard turn then “reverse treble clef” like we originally thought. secondly, the airtime hop was shaped based on the locations and heights of the high and low points and their distances from one another, and I minimized the negative as best as possible with out going crazy on the pullout of the drop from the hill. The height of the Hill is about 54 ft. Let me know if you’d like any other angles of the coaster from No Limits 2! This is the point, to truly decode this project and investigate how awesome this ride will truly be! Side note... is there a better way to get a POV then ride view?
  6. This is gonna be an epic coaster!
  7. Y’all beat me to the punch! After over a month of work and 2 weeks of teasing that the “POV is coming SOON” ... here it finally is! Enjoy and Share!
  8. Drop will be about 5 ft greater then it’s height (301 ft drop vs 296 ft height)
  9. Kings Island Giga No Limits 3D Model Update! I’ve completed the POV, and cinematic off-ride video and Amusement Insiders will post it in the next day or so! I really hope you enjoy the product of almost a month of work! I know, I know, this anticipated POV, video can’t come soon enough but to wet your appetite further, here is the Giga Prediction from no limits photoshopped on the land clearing! Enjoy!
  10. Oh now that we basically know the layout, the next big news is the colors! If you see any track that is NOT brown, let us know! Haha!
  11. Yeah there’s 7 airtime moments. First Drop, sideways airtime on the Stengel dive, airtime on the reverse treble clef, both the airtime hills, and on the last turn around and just before entering the breakrun.
  12. Amusement Insiders should be posting in the next 24 hours! I promise it will be worth the wait! If you haven’t subscribed already, be sure to do so!
  13. Thanks! It really is! I think B&M knocked it out of the park with this one, given the budget and space. And the timing is on me actually. I’m working hard to edit and piece together a cinematic video worthy of such a momentous project! When it’s finally done and out, I think you won’t be disappointed!
  14. Hi! Just to add on to the discussion of the layout, here’s some interesting stats I gathered from my no limits concept! — Enjoy! Speed: 92 mph Drop: 301 ft Height: 296 ft Drop to Break: 58 seconds Length of Track: 5,440 ft Airtime Moments: 7 Max G’s: +4.25 (Pullout of First Drop) | -1.1 (Speedhump)
  15. Right. This is a near exact reverse of the leviathan speed hump. It s-curves out of the turnaround (which will be super fun going 75+ mph) and then transitions into the the speed hump. It’s a really epic (yet smooth) transition if you ask me!
  16. Absolutely! Amusement Insiders will be relaeaaing it over the next few days!
  17. Ok here it is! Full layout based on blue print layout, high and low points, and supports! I was a little creative with the two turn arounds (reverse treble clef and ampersand / Apollo’s chariot helix) however this is most likely what our Giga will look like!
  18. Sorry for all the posts! I think this is the final one! Any other thoughts or corrections?
  19. Wonder if there’s any painted track in Batavia right now?!
  20. Ok y’all! It’s time for a vote! Here is the final 4! Trophy for this one! Heart for This one! Laugh for This one! The 4th option is the above with Mako Purple instead of Red! Put confused for this one!
  21. Hey! It’s time to choose a color scheme!
  22. Absolutely, after this is all done, I’ll be releasing one ASAP!
  23. Need your help! Take a vote on what name you would like the Giga to be called / think it will be called! Laugh Response for — Polaris Thank You Response for — X-301 Confused Response for — Shooting Star or reply back with a new idea! ... Concept with the most votes will be a part of my no limits recreation with a (semi) professional looking logo!
