  1. I've always thought FoF is smooth as anything. It does have rapid changes in direction, and lapbars that will kill you if you're a big and tall guy like me, but I never thought of it as rough.

That's probably it.. Not so much rough per say but the rapid changes in direction are probably what does it to me.

  2. Flight of Fear gives me the same feeling I had about thinking about riding Vortex, Beast, or Racer... Love the ride but it does leave me feeling a little bit like a ball bearing in a tin can. Probably just too spoiled from the smoother rides I guess. Great ride though!

Honestly those look quite a bit like the steel parts of the ceiling seen in the blueprints of the Project X station.

Ya.. Looks potentially like roof trusses.. Some appear to be curved so that would fit with the appearance of the station's roof in the blueprints.

**on second thought I think BSBMX is right. After seeing the above post they don't really look the same.

  4. Technically speaking your eye level should be at 300 feet at that point
-codyfryguy making everyone feel better about not having a lift that is 300 feet high-

Haaaa.. Ya.. Good point! We may have to strap helmets with antennas on our heads but we will get to that 300!!

  5. You gotta be kidding me. Four feet from a 300 foot lift hill. They didn't have enough money for four feet of steel?
Yaaa something tells me as others have said that they are going to go ahead and call it 300' even if it technically falls just below that. I agree though and maybe it is the OCD in me but I would just really like to see it actually hit 300 if it is that close....

  6. Credit to Buckeye Coasters on Instagram. It also looks like footer molds are on site as well.

Were these located between FOF and Racer? Looks to be.. Would these potentially be for the underground portion of the footer (footing - whichever you prefer) or the above ground portion.. If above ground they seem pretty large to me for a storage building no?... Only thing we have for scale though is the marker next to it I guess...

Still not sure why they’re not using the former SOB area behind Banshee for this project. If they went back there, then track length would not be a problem. Lack of money I guess? But if that’s the case then why not wait another year when you can afford something bigger?

Was wondering this too... Just by looking at the pics it doesn't seem like it would be hard to do. Clear just a bit more trees and voila... More land. Must have their hearts set on something else going back there later on. Ohh well.
