  1. That's how Dollywood choose to on their coasters, front rows of each car skipping the last and first row of the last car and having the very last row open. they know many like front and very back rides so spaced accordingly.
  2. Maybe if they took the ride approach and have you a squirt of sanitizer before touching the screen. Though they'd have to be open too LOLOL good luck with the train station one
  3. My hubs and I went to Dollywood reopening as we were already in The area vacationing. Couldn't have asked for a nice time. Sure no masks would be great but they weren't a dealbreaker for us anyways. Both days were practically walk on in most coasters, longest was lightning rod and fire chaser express both at 45 mins. Tuesday we walked on fire chaser. For first time visiting that park it is beautiful. They still went ahead with the flower and food festival the topiaries were amazingly beautiful. The festival food booths opened at odd times and so we didn't get to experience those but the options looked delicious and compared to Epcot's food fest the prices were extremely reasonable. Entree were around 6.99 desserts 5.99 and the specialty drinks 4.99. Lots of variety to choose from all spring and summer inspired. favorite ride of the trip, I thought it would be lightning rod but I found Wild Eagle to take my top spot, though Tennessee tornado was also fun and smooth for an older arrow looper. Dragon flyer packs quite a punch for a "family" coaster LOLOL! Mystery mine was down both days the only coaster not checked off our list. all in all I couldn't be happier with our first visit under these interesting times. It was nice just being in a theme park again and away from it all.
  4. Man KI's trolling the fans is epic! LOLOL all in good fun but what a great sense of humor ha ha Never should have lost that ride in the first place.
  5. Right just adding that those 2 spots were photo spots. The graph comparison is wrong but I can say we saw a few of the above it all mask wearers who either pulled them down under chin or off until caught. Probably about the same amount I've encountered smoking/vaping where they aren't supposed to etc. outdoor spread really is lower, but the rules are there to comply with their requirements for opening. For now if you want coasters you have to put up with the mask. i will say style and material doesn't matter, from bandanas to neck gaiters, disposable to the generic cloth masks. Even saw a few that were just cloth square with a top tie kinda like a mud flap for your face XD lol as long as you had some type of covering you were fine. Health screening they simply asked the main 4 questions. Have you had any the symptoms, have z t you been with anyone who had, have you traveled to a high risk hot spot, or been in contact with anyone from a high risk hot spot.
  6. Both those places had Dw photographers who allowed people to remove masks for photos. If you didn't want the full 2020 look. There's always going to be people who think there above it all and do whatever they please. But security and managers were wandering and catching those who were not wearing them properly even the 5+ age. But they can't be everywhere at all times. edit to add: all black diamond rides and water rides were exempt. So yes they are actually a mask free ride back on as soon as you exit. Neck gaiter really are the way to go for these policies. So yes you will see full trains of unmasked riders. Wild eagle ran full capacity trains because its design allows the spacing without skipping rows.
  7. It should be open, the indoor closed in coaster at Dollywood was running.
  8. They literally just opened and those they caught were told to put them back on. And results can't come that soon. Those numbers are likely from Memorial Day weekend from all the packed nuttiness. Bet in two weeks there will be another spike from the unofficial Rod weekend.
  9. I do hope maybe they stock up in sanitizer. That really expedited the process and saved wiping in between. They just gave a little squirt before you boarded and that was good for their procedures and such. Then did a full wipe down on the hour. It was a great system.
  10. To be fair this is our first visit. But with the distancing and separated seating took about 45 mins for lightning rod first go around right at opening second round right after only took about 15/20 as they got the rhythm and include circuit to clean the trains. Lines I think we'll dip here as it's currently under a thunderstorm. It was a walk on in blazing fury. We're not rushing and just taking our time. edit to add: wild eagle walk on, Tennessee tornado like 10 mins , longest so far was fire chaser express at 45
  11. My suggestion if you're a passholder would be to do wed or tues of the passholder week. I'm currently at Dollywood and people are spacing out and following the guidelines. There are many employees managers etc walking around to encourage proper wear etc. yes some are doing the under nose thing but I believe in the outdoor is not as big a threat as indoors. Most part people are behaving. Florida is almost its own world compared to our northern theme parks. i hope to go opening weekend to ki and would gladly photo and report how they handle it.
  12. Like expected people are seen wearing them many are doing the under the nose.. :/ but many are wearing the Gaiter style ( wish I had picked one up) and wearing those better than people just wearing regular masks. For the optional on some rides the gaiter sure makes it easy to change between on and off
  13. Optional on black diamond thrill rides. They are required in the park but they have multiple rest areas where you can take it off and just distance. edit to add: I wore mine in lightning rod but it wasn't required. But you can't leave them in the bins while you ride, it's either your hand or pocket.
  14. Dollywood is cleaning trains every hour. Every other row capacity and sanitizer before rising to help expedite cleaning procedures. Masks optional. Mine stayed but if they are loose fitting they recommend you hold them in your hand or a zipper pocket. Definitely the neck gaiter style seems to be a great option for the on off worry, and hand free option for those who don't hold on for dear life LOLOL
  15. I bet no freestyle but there's no difference then filling your cup over the counter. There holding your cup either way. The self serve dance will have one employee touching the buttons to fill your drink. The self serve take away is a bit over the top imo if it was highly spread by touching we'd all had it by now because you can't guarantee sanitation on every little thing. Honestly let people use them and have a sanitizer station at the exit. Touch the buttons take a squirt of sanitizer. From my observations down here in TN places we're all over the place on the scale of compliance. Most restaurants employees wore masks, a few were not. A few indoor required masks the entire time others recommended but didn't force. Hardly anyone wore them in outdoor spaces. We'll be interesting to see how it goes today at Dollywood.
  16. Dollywood also put out an update that they too are going to have rest areas throughout the park where you can take your masks off. They watched universal and felt that was a good way to go and help encourage compliance in the hotter humid weather. i made elastic bands to at least make sure our masks don't fly off if they slip. Or are tight but all the coasters at Dollywood we'll be new to us. The LaRosa's by my house always had a full parking lot but now its almost a ghost town even though their dining room is open. Its going to take a while for most people to not be afraid to go back to their normal routine when this is all said and done. I wish it had stayed that way in pigeon forge. They canceled the rod run yet came anyways and thousands flocked the parkway from Friday through this morning. It was madness thankful for back roads around the parkway to escape the bumper to bumper madness.
  17. Thanks! I'm hoping it just restarts s as normal then in July. I wish I had figured out manual payments might see if I can just pass it off early.
  18. Did they post any update on when the restart of payment plans would be? And if it just the same about and your months extend the 3 it was off or will all 3 be due to catch up first?
  19. Learning express out of Centerville Ohio sells kids teens and adults. If your smaller face a teen masks might work and they had simple designs like stars and plain colors. And they do ship. They all look like the light cotton style and should be comfortable.
  20. Yes I like their way it seemed fair and was easy to use.
  21. Woot get to go back to work and go to ki!!! Horrray!!!
  22. lol not really. I can't wait to go back to work and yes I'll be making less than unemployment. But unemployment isn't forever and a good job is, especially one you enjoy. Quit passing on the same rhetoric that those in unemployment right now are lazy.
  23. Timing is everything. Look at the other soon to open parks once an announcement was made websites crashed phones overloaded etc. ex Dollywood have about a week and a half notice. Not getting a announcement might also allow them to organize and hire and train etc. especially for customer service they can get ahead of the herd so to speak of and be ready for the influx of calls etc.
  24. And indoor family entertainment like arcade or screen 75 can but adult casinos can't? What's the difference if your limiting capacity etc? Plexiglas between machines etc. It's just weird, considering surrounding states parks etc. edit to add: I'm not a gambler lol I just work at one and want to go back to work LOLOL
  25. I apologized I didn't read the full bill and if they are trying to put in non opening type agenda then he is well within good to deny. I hate when they try to sneak in stuff attached to bills meant for something else. Hope compromises can be found.
